We loved The Manse - the place is charming, food is great, and the host is delightful. Only negatives are a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the main house, and the bed could have been better. We would definitely go back.
My husband and I stayed in the Manse in September of 2004.
We stayed in the top room in the barn building. The room was furnished in a rustic manner, sitting area, in suite bath and clean. It was quite hot, not typical, thus, the room was a little uncomfortable.

Great rooms - wonderful view and location. The entire inn smells of cigarette smoke. The hosts are very helpful and greet you at the door each time you return. If you can handle the odor it is a wonderful place.
We stayed our first night in Nova Scotia here in 9/03 and loved it. The hosts were very hospitable. We had made to order salmon omelettes for breakfast. They were polite and informative without being intrusive.
Our room was clean and well decorated and very quiet. We slept like babies.
