I cannot say enough about this place. We came upon it by chance back in 2009 and stayed for the first time a couple of months later for my husband's 50th. Then again xmas 2010, spring 2011, June 2011 and are planning again for xmas 2011. In all those times, we have only enjoyed total peace and quiet - even... More

You have not lived until you have walked out at low tide on the Bay of Fundy and walked back in with the rising tide. Four Seasons is a hidden gem and I hesitate to review it as I fear they will be booked up the next time I want to visit. Hidden along the Bay of Fundy in Upper... More

My husband and I stayed here two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and came back this year for the Labor day long weekend. It exceeds everything we could want with the service, the view, the bass fishing (even though we didn't catch a keeper) and the privacy (we were in the guest house this time). The cottage and grounds... More

While the Bay of Fundy and it's incredible tides are a 10, the cabins are no more than a 2. The 1 bedroom cabin rate is definitely not worth what they charge. I speak from experience traveling throughout the eastern provinces as well as the rest of Canada and the US, so I am fully aware of the the continents... More

My husband and I stayed at this "Retreat" for a week in August.  The location is superb - a great spot for watching the amazing Bay of Fundy tides.  The beach is great for exploring - especially when the tide is out. however the access to the beach is difficult and not easy to find.  The stairs were broken and... We rented a 1 bedroom cottage and were very impressed. It was a clean, quiet and we ll laid out cottage. The cabin was right on the ocean and you can sit and watch the extreme tides go in and out. We let them know when we would be arriving and they had the woodstove going and the cabin was... More

We just spent a most relaxing weekend at the Four Seasons Retreat on Cobequid Bay. From the minute we arrived stress just melted off thanks to the quiet and beautiful surroundings. We sat by our woodstove for two nights enjoying good books, the view of the water and absolute silence. At 10pm we could hear small waves crashing against the... More

Couldn't find much info on these cottages before our departure and web site didn't have pictures of the inside of the cottages, so I'm posting a couple. The location was amazing, most of the cottages were right on the water. They have outdoor firepits where you can pay $5 for a wheelbarrow of wood, which would be well worth it... More

The location is amazing. The beach is beautiful (access for the infirm is iffy, though) the fishing is great. Honestly, I have rarely been in a more relaxing spot. The moon reflecting on the water, and the stars at night are breathtaking! It was located close to several fun parks, but the spot itself was so perfect, we rarely felt... More

This property has a lovely setting. However, this did not make up for the fact that we smelled mold and mildew the instant we opened the cottage door. We explained to the management that our children are allergic to mold. They did not offer us alternative accommodation. We left the windows open for several hours. This seemed to help somewhat....
