feel like staying at a friend's place instead of in a B&B. Ian run this B&B very professionally and tries hard to make the guest feel comfortable. This experience definitely raise my bar for a B&B next time.

We stayed at the Arden B&B for three nights and I have no complaints. The room was clean and warm, Ian served a continental style breakfast in the common area every morning and we could come and go as we pleased at all hours (which is important when you are heading out in the middle of the night to watch... We stayed a week. The temperature was minus 35C. On arrival we were offered a heavy duty electrical cord to plug in our truck. The room had a comfortable queen bed and lots of closet space and full bath. Each morning hot coffee and tea was ready followed by a nice breakfast. The house was clean and warm. Each night... More

This bed and breakfast did not appear to be a licensed accommodation. We arrived to a room that was not ready for us, so we left our belongings and went on to another destination. When we arrived back to the unlocked home, our belongings were not in the room, and no one was in the house. We searched the house... More

We arrived Yellowknife at 11pm local time and Ian the host is very kind to wait for our arrival in mid-night. The room is warm and spacious, bed is big and hot shower available inside the private bathroom. We rented a car during our stay but public transport is available nearby.

Just came back from Yellowknife and stayed in this B&B for two nights after 4 nights in a camping site. Still remember first day when we went out we locked the door, and the host, Ian smiled, "we usually don't lock the door as guests would come in and out anytime." Surprised by how secured and quite this little residential... More

We stayed at Arden Ave B & B for four nights in early March 2013. We found the accommodation excellent, and enjoyed our stay a great deal. (It helped that we scored 3 out of 3 on Aurora viewing nights). Ian, the owner, was a wonderful host. We were pleasantly surprised when he picked us up at the airport, as... More

This is a good basic "do-it-yourself" B&B and for $110/night you can't beat it! There are three rooms available, one with a private ensuite. Bed was comfortable and location quiet. A large shared lounge offers tv, dvd's, & Yellowknife info. There is a coffee maker, kettle, toaster,& fridge. The hostess sets out a selection of coffee, juice, fruits, baking, cereals,... More

Selected this B&B as it was one of the few available that also offered a queen sized bed with ensuite. We were happily surprised with our choice. Home was clean, quiet, and in a nice residential neighbourhood. The host, Connie, even came into our room while we were out to tidy up and provide us with fresh towels! We had... More

This is one of the best B&B's I've stayed in on travels throughout North America. Separate entrance for the guests. Large bedrooms. Tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean beds, floors, and shared bathroom. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom if that is your preference. Large living-room, television, videos for the guests use - separate in the basement from the hosts' family living... More
