Highlight of this place is Tim Horton's, which is spitting distance and Wal-Mart and Marks Work Warehouse which are just a few meters away, sprinter Usian Bolt can probably run between the three in 10 seconds flat. I recently travelled to Yellowknife for business. I checked into this hotel and checked out after only two nights (I was scheduled to stay for 14). Everything was GREAT! Warm reception, complete "FREE" breakfast, including make your own waffles stand. Rooms are clean and quiet and it;s next door to the only Tim Horton's in Yellowknife more

Stayed at the Super 8 in March 2006 while travelling to the North on business. They charged me $139.00 CDN per night which I feel is high for a Super 8. My room had the ironing board hung on a rack in the bedroom part - not in the closet like most hotels that I have stayed in. Breakfast was... more

I travel all over the northern parts of Canada. And can say with a smile that you cant always judge a book bye its cover. But if you are looking for a standard place to stay in yellowknife, you cant go wrong with a Motel like super 8.The entrance to the moteal is small. And look out as you drive... more
