I spent a week at Bathurst Inlet Lodge in 1993 and it was just as terrific when I came back in 2007. There is no place like it anywhere else in the Arctic. Facilities are rustic, but considering where you are, they're excellent. Easy access to outstanding flowers, wildlife, birds, history, scenery, canoeing, rockhounding, etc. Great boat for venturing afield... more
