I only stayed here for one night on business travel. The room was modern and recently renovated, however it was very dark, and there is no switch to turn the light on when you enter the room (you need to fumble in the dark for the desk lamps). There was also a weird smell in the hallway (a mixture of... More

We got to the hotel late at night but it was a very good check in. I had asked for room not near elevator which they did but they put us by stairs so still very noisy, The Japanese tourists go very late at night to view the aurora borealis and when they come back at 2:00am and 3:00am they... More

I booked this hotel for 4 nights through Expedia, under the flight + hotel combo offer. In the booking, I requested for early check-in however, when I reached there after having a 12 hours flight, almost 45 degree change in the temperature and getting stranded at the airport due to Air Canada labour problems, I found that the room is... My room was very small in that it was about 1/2 the size of a normal hotel (2 beds). It was a good price for me and thus the value was great. The hotel felt safe and was connected to the town mall, which had a restaurant, some basic stores and a coffee shop (good Americanos). It was quiet, clean... More

The Yellowknife Inn is very well-positioned, located right in the middle of downtown Yellowknife, and therefore within easy walking distance of the mall, several restaurants, and the businesses located downtown. I also have to mention that I am very much a country boy--when I travel, I avoid downtown areas like the plague. But we are talking about Yellowknife, after all,... More

I was at the Yellowknife Inn in November and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. From the street or mall entrance the hotel presents well and the staff was very quick on the check-in.
