Great bed and breakfast in the old town of Yellowknife. It is a 20 minute walk to get to downtown. The views from the lake are gorgeous from the common room and the cafe downstairs. It's also a great place to see auroras. Breakfast is an actual breakfast and not just continental. In the common room, you have acces to... More

We enjoyed our stay at Bayside. The location is great in the area of Old Town. Great view over the lake. Even got to see a plane landing on the frozen lake. Best location to view the Aurora even tho there was none happening the 2 nights we were there. Was a great disappointment! Rooms were clean and beds very... More

We saw aurora light outside the B&B. The breakfast is very good and host of B&B is very nice. B&B is located in the heart of Old Town, so you could visit some arts and crafts stores. Great view on the lake, and very quiet as it's in Old town.

I am a planner and so I carefully picked out this Bed & Breakfast for our once in a lifetime trip to see the aurora. I picked it for the views of the aurora, the breakfast offered and the location with proximity to down town etc. And to ensure that I would have this place that seemed so perfect for... More

Was travelling through Yellowknife and found this little place. Great view on the lake, and very quiet as it's in Old town. Downtown is only a short 15 minute walk. The back deck have a great view of the Northern Lights. Service was great, and they were very accommodating for breakfast, as you could basically walk in and have breakfast... More

We stayed at Bayside North over the Labour Day weekend and had a terrific time. The owners, John and Debbie were lovely. Extremely helpful, hospitable, willing to help out with anything and very kind. We stayed in the Northern Lights Room, which was fantastic. Just walk out onto the deck and back area to the lake. Stand out and look... More

This B&B is right on the lake. It was convenient to walk to the city centre and all through Old Town. The breakfasts were very tasty and we always had plenty to eat. It was interesting to watch the float planes take off and land. As we left very early on Sunday we were packed a cinnamon bun and juice... More

Good location, friendly service. Breakfasts were particularly good, fresh fruit salad as standard. The " Dancing Moose Cafe" which is part of the hotel was always busy with a good atmosphere Would certainly stay here again
