We stayed in the separate cabin which provided the quiet and privacy we most appreciate. The room was clean and appealing. Our hosts were very hospitable and the food in the cafe is delicious (however, the service is at times glacial). We'd definitely come back for another stay.

The owners of this B&B are great people. Every time we passed them, they were very nice and talkative! The breakfast in the mornings was great each and every day. The café is located in Old Town and on the water. The view of the later from the back porch was A+. The rooms are a little small but they... More

The location of this B&B is hard to beat in Yellowknife ... right on the water in the "old town" and walkable to a couple of good cafes ... but the place almost seemed to be in a stated of suspended reconstruction. The proprietors were very kind, but at times it seemed like running a B&B and cafe was an... More

maybe 1-2miles from the city, but easy to reach, lived in cabin for 2 night, a separate house outside their main building! amazing view at night. their breakfast is a big plus, compared to other b&b nearby where you have to cook your own!

We largely chose this B&B for convenience of staying with a young (age 6) child. We wanted to be able to view aurora from our accommodation since it was impractical to do all night tours in the cold with a youngster in tow. The good: location was very good - right on the lakeside and probably as good as we... More

Bayside is best described as "adequate" - nothing terribly outstanding, nothing terribly awful. Its location has been said to be one of its stronger points, as it's right in front of the lake. However, one thing to bear in mind is that it's actually somewhat problematic for aurora viewing. The reason is that there's a building to the left of... More

I’ve recently stayed at the Bayside B&B for many days and I must add some negative comments : • It is not true that both rooms upstairs share a common bathroom in the hallway… That restroom is also shared with the Dancing Moose Cafe downstairs as its second restroom. It is also used (for its shower) by the occupants of... More

There are many advantages to staying at Bayside B&B, I'm going to mention 3. The first is that you're going to meet some of the friendliest and kindest staff you'll meet in Yellowknife, while the high demand can stress the place sometimes and make things run slowly, everyone working there is as helpful as possible and very friendly and polite... We booked this B&B based on good reviews from TA and would stay there if we ever visit Yellowknife again. The owners John and Debbie are very friendly. The best part about the B&B is its cafe (The Dancing Moose Cafe) located down stairs. Not only it's wonderfully convenient in the winter months, the delicious food from the cafe is probably... More

We stayed at the B&B for 5 nights over Christmas holiday and we had a great time there. We were in the cozy cabin, which is seperare from the main building. We enjoyed the cabin as it provided us the privacy and peacefulness we prefer. The cabin has everything except shower so we need to go to the main building... More
