I tried to book a night after the place that I was staying was booked. From the get go communication was awkward and forced. The room was incredibly dusty, with dust bunnies and animal hair under the beds. There were mismatched light fittings, holes in the wall from previous mounting jobs, the heating unit was old and difficult to use... More

The guest's issues fall into three categories: (1) Wi-fi quality (2) The quality of the cabin (3) Service quality In the paragraphs to follow, we respond to these issues - and provide further commentary afterward. (1) Wi-Fi Quality The WIFI issue was temporary. It was fixed shortly after the guest left. (She stayed only one night.) The solution required, as... More

I made the reservation for Bayside even 3 months ago. I really wanted to stay here and my choice was right. We saw the aurora from the living room for 2 nights of 3 nights we stayed here. You don't have to go for tour and wait in the cold outside. Just stay in the living room and go out... More

My husband and I went to Yellowknife during the Christmas holiday and stayed in Bayside B&B for two days from Dec 23 to Dec 24. We reserved the master bed room , which is on the first floor with a private duck and you can go to the lake directly! Meanwhile, it's also good for aurora watching! We like their... More

We stayed at the master bedroom for two nights. We loved the room. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It also has an individual bathroom. You can directly see the Great Slave Lake and a little bit of the sky from the bedroom, but for better aurora viewing, you can go to the second floor lounge or the backyard.... More

Stayed here a few years ago. It was very good but we decided to try others. Came back here and WOW have John and Debbie made it even better! The room was comfortable, the bed was great, the staff is friendly and competent. Our room had an ensuite and an outside door. That was very nice. They have a restaurant... More

An interesting mix for a B&B.We checked our reservations a number of times because we had heard of issues with lost reservations. When we got there late at night our party of 3 had problems; one of our rooms was already filled. Two of us (women) had our room ready but our guy did not. Although we are used to... More

We apologize for the inconvenience. We had to leave suddenly, due to a tragic death in the family. Our son was left in charge, and although a bright lad, he had not mastered management of the facility. In short, if not for this reality, you folks would have stayed in the room originally booked - with services to the level... More

Overall a decent stay, we chose this B&B mainly due to its location and the option to view the aurora from the balcony. Pros: - Can see the aurora from the back yard - Breakfast is filling and very good, also flexibility with timing and you can eat up to 11am - Located in Old Town, so some interesting stores... More

We stayed at this B&B in a group of 5 that we occupied all the 3 rooms on the first floor. We stayed here 3 nights and could see the aurora from this B&B every night during our stay. We could see the aurora from our balcony and even inside my room. You could hardly imagine how great it could... More

This wonderful B&B has it all...a beautiful location, a wonderfully renovated old estate house, breakfast to perfection, and kind and gracious hosts. The combination of attention to detail and loving reconstruction has made this among our favorite of all B&B's. The Bayside room on the second floor is an outstanding one with exceptional views, a sun porch, and a large... More
