I stated 1 night at St John's city hostel. I booked a 4 bed mixed room thru Internet. I wrote to the hostel if it was OK if I was checking in at around 1am because my flight was landing late. I had a reply by Dave Barron saying it wasn't a problem at all. I came in that night... More

I stayed two nights last week at City Hostel, 8 Gower Street, in St. John's. Private room w/private bath, facing the back of the building and overlooking the neighbors' gardens, was $58 CAD and an excellent choice for my travel dollars.
