We had a nice room but to our surprise, we had one of the rooms without air conditioning and unfortunately it was at the time when it was quite warm. We asked for relief, which we received with a fan and they also cut our rate for our inconvenience. breakfast was OK but could have been better when compared to... More

What a gem! Staff are very welcoming and make you feel comfortable immediately! Breakfast was delicious! It is about half hour walk to downtown. We had the Quidi Vidi room for two nights. It was small but very comfortable. Our sleep would have been much better had it not been for the road construction right out front. They started way... More

We stayed three nights at the Leaside Suites in St Johns and it was not what we were expecting after reading the write ups from others. First let me say that the staff were wonderful...very friendly and accomodating. They recommended places for us to eat, helped us with reservations, etc. To start with, our room (the Quidi Vidi) although small,... More

I stayed at Finlay room#3, an executive flat located at Water St. and Waterford Bridge Dr. I was pleasantly surprised with in-suite laundry. It was great to come home with clean clothes. It is very affordable for a short-term rental; we stayed a month to enjoy all the sights and scenery such as Cape Spear, Cabot Tower and Signal Hill.... More

We stayed three nights at the Leaside Manor. Our suite was large, although I heard others say that their rooms were small. The location is perfect for touring the city. You will need a car. The breakfast meal was a perfect place to meet other travellers. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help. Make sure... More

This place is very elegant and restful. The staff are wonderful and will add to the experience in a very good way. Breakfast is a set breakfast freshly cooked and served to individual taste. The rooms are very romantic in style and extremely comfortable. Photos of the Confederation room are attached to this review. The walk to downtown is a... More

We stayed for two nights at the Leaside Manor. My husband and I were given the Confederation room and my daughter and her partner had the Jelly Bean room. The young man and lady on reception when we arrived were very helpful and kind. Our room was pleasant but I wish I had asked for one of the more 'homespun'... More

This inn is within walking distance of downtown and is well-preserved, with attention to the things that matter most: clean and organized, great bed and bath facilities, and a delicious, hearty breakfast. The staff is appropriately welcoming and helpful. I would say they have hospitality figured out. We stayed for four nights and we will be returning.

My wife and I stayed at Leaside Manor for 3 nights and enjoyed our visit immensely. We were in the Parker suite and it is a beautiful large suite with Jacuzzi and very nice antique furniture. The staff were friendly and helpful and the full breakfast was excellant each morning. I felt that the location was quiet and had great... More
