I've stayed several times at Abba; it;'s within walking distance of EVERYTHING, so you can forget about a car. Five mins to downtown; restaurants; cultural sites; beds are extremely comfortable; bathrooms well equipped with whatever you might have forgotten. Best value I know of in the downtown. more

Reading the other reviews, some clarification is required. If you don't want any interaction with the owner, you would find this B&B adequate. These people run several B&B's and this one has the feeling of being part of a business enterprise. Like another poster mentioned, I didn't get as far as booking the room because the owner was unbelievably rude. I would never endorse such a place. Newfoundland is full of wonderful, gracious people, so there is no need to waste your money or time on a place like that. more
