We stayed here in July. The location was perfect. Nice large rooms. The staff was quite nice and we're around when we needed them. It felt like we in our own home. Leave your car and walk to the sites. The downtown streets were under constant construction.

Hi, I stayed for two nights on a business trip. Cabot house is a good and affordable place in St. John's. Downtown is very close so you won't to travel much to visit good places. From outside this house looks not so good but actually rooms are spacious and clean. Service is great, you don't to wait much. You may heard... More

Our room in this heritage house was extremely attractive and spacious with a fully-equipped en suite bathroom. The location is within walking distance of downtown St. John's which is a plus. Don't be fooled by the outside view which is a bit lacking in curb appeal. The owner does not live on the premises (he owns three b&b's, I believe),... More

This review was very comprehensive and will result in one immediate policy change. Hot breakfast service ends when we honour our most recent booking. Most guests never bother with breakfast. Sophisticated room fans will be replaced by conventional inexpensive fans today. Fans are rarely ever used by our guests but we have had some of the hottest days in recorded... More

We stayed 2 nights. When we pulled in the parking behind the house it appeared shabby. People smoking and talking through a basement window. In the foyer there was an envelope with me name on it, no one around. This is a large old home owned by an older gentleman that does not live in the home. It is looked... More

After reading some reviews we didn't know what to expect, but Cabot House was a great choice. It's a nicely renovated Victorian home with lots of lovely period features. Our room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was great and we were close to everything we needed, within walking distance of downtown, The Rooms, walking trails, 10 min from Signal... More

When I pulled into the parking lot behind the house, there were several people sitting around smoking, which gave me pause. There were also people sitting on the front stoop smoking...turned out to be the owners...no smiles of greeting here. Very impersonal. Key was in an envelope with my name on it. Wow..:-( ... However, the room itself was delightful... More

Me and my friend stayed one week in Cabot House. The place was clean and the service was beyond our exceptations. If your looking for a beautiful place to stay, go here! The price/quality ratio is ok, and the student who stays in the B&B will help you if you have any problems. He provided us with maps and great... More

Deadly quiet for sure. The operator, wife and children live on the property but it is so large and solid you hardly ever hear a sound. Bedding is excellent, WiFi excellent. Off-Street parking spacious, Breakfast served piping hot. Everything was high end including the artwork. This place could charge for admissions for a tour. I don't generally stay in Inns... More

We arrived to an empty, creepy, deathly quiet bed and breakfast that immediately gave me the chills. There was absolutely no one working in the establishment. It was unbearable hot in the room we booked. I got this eerie feeling of being watched. We decided to leave, and in trying to cancel our reservation, the man who answered the other... More

Stayed here a few weeks ago for just one night. the room was immaculate and elegant. We had room 1, which had cathedral ceiling over the bed which was super comfortable, a huge chandelier, the bathroom had a huge claw foot tub!! & breakfast cooked to perfection in the morning! It was awesome!!
