We love this B & B. John was very helpful and keeps this lovely hotel very clean. It is very close to downtown St. John's and can easily be walked. The area is very nice and safe. Will be defiantly staying here again for sure.

I wonder if some reviewers were talking about some different property. The property was far beyond the norm of any Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed in. The bedroom ceilings were at least ten feet high. The room was quite large and spacious and quiet. Everything was clean and QUIET. Location could not have been better, crest of the... More

Great location - you can walk almost anywhere in St John's from here. I had a huge room, very comfy with a fab, footed bath tub that I could lie down flat in. Very quiet at night, about a 10 minute walk to Sobeys and lots of restaurants. Staff are very helpful.

We arrived at Cabot House early afternoon, and we were a bit surprised there was no reception. However there was a note indicating what number to call, which we did and were relieved to hear that our arrival was expected, and that we would be called when the room was ready. We parked our car round the back (seemed to... More

First trip to the rock, and this City rocks Great to walk home after a night on George Street to no fuss no bother privacy Rooms were well appointed and quiet. Breakfast was self serve so no bother with hosts to entertain. Great selection of tv channels. I had WiFi trouble which the Manager sorted out for me, I had... More

I enjoyed my stay here. My room was huge and the bed was VERY comfy. Parking is limited but I never had issues. I had a beautiful claw foot tub as well as a mini fridge in my room which was great. The hosts were not very present so if you are looking for that B&B experience where you are... More

Great old mansion just a ten minute walk to George Street. Most of the tourist locations are located in this area. I rented a car but didn't bother using it except for a trip to Cape Spear. I am a light sleeper but the rooms were really quiet and I had a very comfortable stay

We stayed here in July. The location was perfect. Nice large rooms. The staff was quite nice and we're around when we needed them. It felt like we in our own home. Leave your car and walk to the sites. The downtown streets were under constant construction.

Hi, I stayed for two nights on a business trip. Cabot house is a good and affordable place in St. John's. Downtown is very close so you won't to travel much to visit good places. From outside this house looks not so good but actually rooms are spacious and clean. Service is great, you don't to wait much. You may heard... More

Our room in this heritage house was extremely attractive and spacious with a fully-equipped en suite bathroom. The location is within walking distance of downtown St. John's which is a plus. Don't be fooled by the outside view which is a bit lacking in curb appeal. The owner does not live on the premises (he owns three b&b's, I believe),... More

This review was very comprehensive and will result in one immediate policy change. Hot breakfast service ends when we honour our most recent booking. Most guests never bother with breakfast. Sophisticated room fans will be replaced by conventional inexpensive fans today. Fans are rarely ever used by our guests but we have had some of the hottest days in recorded... More
