Fantastic location for exploring St.John's, both downtown and catching trails heading outwards from the city. Bill, Wanda & Todd maintain this B&B to the highest degree whilst having fun at the same time. Food of course is wonderful. Quiet street, great coffee shops nearby, and a five minute walk to some of St.John's more famous watering holes. We enjoyed Raymonds... More

On our first visit to Newfoundland, we were very lucky to have found such a great place to stay as the Chef's Inn. We arrived very late at night, due to flight delays, but the friendly greeting, complete with a warm drink and cookies, plus the attractive room, soon made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Chef Todd Perrin and his... More

Staying at the Chef's Inn was one of the highlights of our trip. The whole atmosphere is clean, restful and peaceful. The breakfast was by far one of our best meals in NL, and possibly one of the best breakfasts ever. Perfectly prepared, and with many local items featured, such as local blueberry muffins. The service provided was professional and... More

I had been looking forward to this stay for quite some time. My husband and I started our two-week Newfoundland adventure at The Chef's Inn. We stayed two nights in "The Narrows" room. Owners are warm, welcoming and make you feel right at home. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and breakfast was delicious, thanks to Chef Todd... More

we stayed at the chef's inn while we were in town visiting friends. it was incredibly comfortable and clean, while also having that authentic St.John's b&b feel. the family that ran it made it feel like a home away from home without being overbearing in any way. the inn is walking distance from everything in downtown St.John's. the room was... I stayed at the chef's in for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. The house the b&b is in is beautiful and well kept. The owner's Todd, Bill and Wanda are hospitable and generous with their time (and food). My room was was cozy (I stayed in the Cubby) and the breakfasts and snacks provided were hearty and tasty.... The Chef's Inn was a perfect way to end our two week stay in Newfoundland. It is conveniently located for walking around downtown St. Johns. We enjoyed the outstanding breakfasts. Our room and common areas were spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable and quiet (great night's sleep). Thanks Wanda, Bill and Todd for your warm hospitality. My only regret was not having... Though St. John's is a little pricey, comparable to Europe's big cities; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chef's Inn. We stayed in two different rooms, both of which were very well appointed. The smaller had a beautiful view of St. John's Harbour. The larger had a nice street view and a large beautiful en suite bath. Todd and... More

Bill, Wanda and Todd are all natural hosts. From the moment you arrive at the Chef's Inn you feel like a member of their family, if only for a few days. Aside from the food obviously living up to the B&B's eponymous title, the rooms are meticulously kept and not lacking any detail or comfort that you would find in... More

I was very fortunate to be able to spend two days at The Chef's Inn. When I called to book a room, Bill told me he would put me in "The Narrows Room." The room itself was large and comfortable and had a nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. However, it was the view that made this stay so special.... More
