We only stayed one night at the Glynmill Inn after flying in to Deer Lake and then travelling into Corner Brook. It presents well with an 'olde English Tudor' appearance and well landscaped grounds. The room was rather idiosyncratic (light switches hidden behind the TV cabinet) and the space was not well used. We frankly couldn't tell if the room had been refurbished recently or not! Stayed here twice - once in the newer section, once in the main building. The newer section has newer amenities. Looked to be just a few years old. Stayed two nights here - it is in a wonderful location. A heritage hotel built in the 1920's I believe. Very charming. Small elevator. Old wooden creaking floors. Our room was very large.
