We spent four nights at the Cape Anguille lighthouse B&B and fully enjoyed the experience. The restored lighthouse is charming with beautifully appointed, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Our hostess, Anne English was well-informed and prepared delicious, hot breakfasts. Highly recommend this delightful B&B.

This Inn ,being the old lighthouse keepers quarters i, is the ultimate of Rest and relaxation. The staff exude Newfoundland hospitality. Rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is top notch. On one evening, we had the optional dinner...cod at its best in a wonderful lemon sauce. Personally, it would have been perfect if wi fi were available.

It's delightful to see these older, interesting properties preserved for current use, and the Lighthouse Keeper's Inn has been attractively upgraded. The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed, and there was a lovely view of the sea. However, of the 3 windows in the room, only 1 opened, and only partially. A fan was provided, but the room would have... More

This is an absolutely charming place to stay. The old Light Keeper's home complete with original design, interior (with, of course, to-day and indoor loo!). No television, no telephones and no pressure. The lighthouse still works and so does the hostess, Ann, who works hard and prepared a fantastic stuffed cod dinner accompanied by recordings of some of that wonderful... More

Tranquility, tranquility, tranquility... What a nice place to relax by the sea, watch sunsets, and have the sound of the waves when you sleep... The place is unique; rooms are comfortable and spotless; the hostess was very friendly and helpful. I wish we had more time to stay longer. No TV, no internet, what a nice break from the crazy... If you enjoy tranquility, history, new friendships and a connection to our past them this is well worth a drive. We arrived from the Port Aux Basques ferry after a 3:45 disembarkation and at the inn at 6PM - after stops along the way - quite leisurely. Our hostess greeted us with kindness and enthusiasm. Our room and en suite... More

Just left the Lighthouse Inn this morning. No internet, no TV, no fancy breakfast, who cares? We watched a spectacular sunset over the ocean from the lighthouse after walking along the shoreline bluffs with our kids. Money can't buy it. Spotless, spacious, well-kept rooms, and friendly staff. It was our last night in Newfoundland, couldn't have been better.

Since I've always wanted to sleep at a lighthouse, we went out of our way to stay here, and I'm glad we did. However, I think it helped that we were prepared beforehand by earlier reviewers, so we knew that the spot was remote, and that we'd be without internet and TV, with a pretty spare breakfast. It was the... More

It was our last night on the rock and we decided to stay at Cape Anguille Lighthouse B & B. The people here are very friendly and it was a great place to stop and relax before catching the ferry back. My wife, 2 boys and I would recommend this stop.

We got to Cape Anguille in the afternoon and had time to enjoy the Codroy Valley and take a walk along the bay. The wildflowers were blooming, the day was bright and sunny, and we just enjoyed our room in the lightkeeper's home. Cape Anguille Lighthouse was built on the most Westerly point of Newfoundland in the early 1900s. We... More
