We only had one night in Shediac and the Auberge Inn Thyme was a wonderful place to stay. The B&B is a 100 year old home, nicely appointed and very comfortable. Unfortunately the owners were not serving dinner the night we were there, but the breakfast was the best that we had on our whole two week trip through Atlantic... More

I've had the opportunity to dine here for lunch several times over the last couple years and it never disappoints. The menu changes weekly depending on what the chef picks up and what food is in season. The food is always fresh and lets you leave feeling satisfied and not weighed down by a heavy, fatty meal. The staff are... More

Anyone not taking the time to enjoy the introduced evening meal opportunity is really missing out on a wonderful fine dining experience served with care in an environment hosted by 2 cuisine professionals who know their business. Our meals were superb as was the dessert - we also had the pleasure of meeting the Chef. We arrived without having called... More

My niece and I had business to attend to in Shediac Cape and decided to have lunch in the area. Fortunately, we were directed to the Auberge Inn Thyme on Main St. in Shediac by a nearby competitor which does not serve lunch. I was tending towards the Greek salad but my niece insisted that I would enjoy the Lobster... More

Before booking, I had read the reviews of the Inn on line, and expected to be wowed. We stopped by a few days before our check in date, and had coffee and desert on the beautiful wrap around veranda, toured the downstairs, and immediately fell in love. We arrived about 2 hours early for our check in, and expected to... More

The place looked great and at first look was impress.....then we were seated and waited minimum 15 minutes to have a coffee, which 3 out of 4 wanted some and we got a pot than only gave 2 1/2 cups so we asked for another one and paid $10.00, which we didn't know at the time....then finally we asked if... This place is a great spot. Its quaint and charming but in the good sense of the words. Spotless, tastefully appointed, a killer location in Shediac (beside the best lobster restaurant in town, 5 minute walk to the inlet and the giant lobster, even closer to the 'downtown strip', and a 5 minute drive to the beach), wonderful meals and... We stayed here September 2012, so this review is just a little late, but hopefully still useful. A couple things we didn't like - no TV in the room; and the bathtub/shower being in the actual bedroom, mainly because the room became too warm when the shower was in use, even with an open window. I seem to remember that... More

This Auberge is the best B&B we have stayed at - the perfect combination of pleasant hosts, delicious fare and quiet surroundings. Very relaxed atmosphere, spotless bedroom and bathroom, crisp bed linen and comfortable bed, centrally located in Shediac. Built in 1911, this very large house (large rooms, wrap around porch) still has turn-of-the-century charm. Creeky floors, uncluttered decor, soft... More
