Our priorities were reasonable prices (they gave us a multi-night discount), being within walking distance of the waterfront & old city and a clean room. We got all those things, plus the room had a new flat screen TV (very nice), a fridge & microwave (very handy) and the staff here were really great & extremely accomodating. On a negative... more

I live in Alberta but visit SJ a few times a year to see family. I usually stay at the Colonial as the rates are good (usually around $75 per night). Parking is free, the restaurant is always open, the indoor pool and hot tub is a bonus. I've always had a microwave and fridge in my room which was... more

I must say this hotel was one of the most disgusting places I have ever stayed. We stayed in the Hawaiian Suite which we thought should be the best room in the hotel - boy were we surprised. The room had decor out of the 70's, there was dirty carpet in the bathroom, holes in the walls, wallpaper half on... more

Very out of date and definately creepy!!! We felt like we were on the set of The Shinning;.....run as fast as you can!!! more

Good value for the money. This hotel has seen better days but our room was clean and roomy. We like the fast internet and HDTV. Pool was clean as well as the hot tub. I wouldn't want to stay for weeks, but for one or two nights to see the Bay of Fundy or catch the boat..great value. We had... more

Driving home from the U.S. we needed a place for 1 nite. We drove up to the motel & my heart sank. In the room next to ours, was a young man half in the doorway and half out looking around. We had to go into the motel to get to our room and then unlock the outside door. My... more

We were there to have a girls night out 4 of us. When we checked into the room. It smelled bad. The floors were very dirty I didn't dare take off my shoes. The bathroom was yucky taps cruddy and the mirror wasn't even cleaned from the last guests. Popcorn under the beds and beer caps behind the fridge oh... more
