My wife and I stayed at the Weir Inn for 3 days during our 2 weeks in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Everything about the BB was excellent - Great host ,excellent breakfast and beautiful accommodations. The BB is only a few minutes from everything in St.Johns and not far from the Bay of Fundy Trail and National Park. The... More

Reasons to stay at the Weir Inn: 1. Nonie & Paul; your hosts. They are friendly, helpful, informative... sorry, I'll stop, but I could continue with many superlatives. 2. Location; out of town but convenient to everything. Reversing Falls - 7 minutes. Uptown St. John - 12 minutes. Easy shot to everything. 3. The breakfast; fresh fruit, an omelet to... More

What an elegant place to stay in Saint John. We were the only people there and had the entire downstairs to ourselves. Our room was large, elegantly and comfortably furnished, with an equally spacious bathroom. We overlooked the Bay of Fundy and walked through the garden down to the pebble beach for a closer look at the water. Our very... More

We, two couples, on our way to Nova Scotia, spent two nights at the Weir Inn while visiting relatives in St. John. Nonie is a wonderful host, providing very comfortable, private accommodations, and serving delicious breakfasts. She also graciously shipped an electronic charger back to my home, after I neglectfully left it behind! In addition to a beautiful location overlooking... More

My wife and I were looking for a comfortable place to stay in Saint John, and did we ever find it. The view from the rear is extremely relaxing, and you can watch the effects of the tidal changes as rocks appear and disappear. The trip into Saint John is only about ten minutes. Hence, you get easy access to... More

If you are in the St John area, this is the place to stay. Nonie has built a B and B facility that is among the very best we have stayed in. Two beautiful rooms with superb bathrooms, both tastefully decorated are on either side of a common area for guests in the basement. A fireplace, Keurig, and fridge are... More

The pictures don't do this place justice. The view is spectacular, the beach is beautiful, the food is delicious, the rooms/furniture are comfortable, and the hosts welcoming and good-humoured! Far better than any hotel could offer in the area and only a very short $10 cab into town if you want to have some drinks with dinner. Stay here!

After spending 2 weeks traveling around the maritimes and staying at 7 B&B's (all TripAdvisor #1's for their location), I can easily say that this was the best one by far. There are a few necessities for a traveler when it comes to accommodations: getting a good night sleep to gear up for the day's excursions and getting a chance... More

This was a fantastic place to stay in Saint John. There is a large common room with plenty of reading material about the area, a coffee maker and cozy furniture. When you step out of the sliding doors, you have a perfect view of the Bay of Fundy. A few steps down the grassy hill, and you are at the... More
