We made a family trip to the Maritimes that we had been talking about for years. We started off in Saint John and stayed at the Mahogany Manor B&B because we love old historic homes. The inn is very well cared for, very relaxing. Carl and Jim were helpful, funny and good chefs to boot. It is close to everything... More

We have stayed here several times on our way to or from Prince Edward Island. Our recent visit was very enjoyable. Mahogany manor is a lovely old home about a 5-10 minute walk to the center of Saint John. There is an elegant parlor and sunroom on the first floor and a very comfortable TV room on the second floor... More

We stayed at Mahogany Manor twice, once on our way out and once on our way back. Carl and Jim are wonderful, gracious hosts. They prepare wonderful breakfasts and tell great stories. Our fellow guests were interesting and friendly, making breakfast very enjoyable. After our second stay, my wife left her jewelry bag in the room, and when she realized... More

We stayed for one night on our way to a camping and biking trip in Nova Scotia. Our hosts allowed us to lock our bikes in their garden. Our room, with two beds for three of us (2 adults and our teen daughter) was nicely sized. We liked that so many places were within walking distance... we went to a... More

We chose this B&B based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. Yes, there is a resident cat, but he greeted us at the door and knew he was not to come into the guest room. Our hosts were happy to accommodate our early morning getaway to catch the ferry to Digby. Room was just fine. Breakfast excellent. Location on... More

My wife and I (plus small dog) recently stayed with Carl and Jim at Mahogany Manor twice for a total of four nights after visiting them for the first time in 2013. The same excellent hospitality marked by amazing breakfasts and a degree of courtesy that will keep us coming back. We have had family visit us while staying here,... More

This is a charming place and extremely clean. The hosts are friendly and knowledgable, as well as patient with tired guests who are struggling to absorb directions in a strange town. The breakfast was lovely too...BUT, they have a cat. If you are allergic to cats this is not the place for you, because even though the house is large,... More

Had the pleasure of dining here this past weekend for a ladies lunch. Although I live close to Saint John, NB, I had never visited here before. We had a ladies lunch all pre-booked for us and they were waiting for us upon arrival with hot tea and wine to help us warm up from the rain-filled walk we had... More

Our stay was ok. Room was lovely, location excellent. The owner was friendly but maybe a bit disorganized. I had no receipt (no online reservations or email that I could locate) or telephone confirmation number. When I made the reservation I was asked when we would be arriving. The best I could say at that point was mid to late... More

On february 27th, we booked two rooms for 1 night at Mahogany Manor B and B and confirmed the reservation with a credit card. Everything was OK. On March 3rd, we receive a call from the owner telling us he was not able to live up to his commitment because he had people who reserved for 7 nights, so BEWARE!
