Very close to downtown. Cozy, folky atmosphere. Good breakfast with fresh fruit. Friendly staff. Fair price.

A few girlfriends and I decided to stay in Saint John to go to the Pauly D Concert and then spend a weekend uptown walking around seeing all the sites and old buildings. We found this B&B and decided to stay here because of how close it was to harbour station and the good prices. We were surprised with a...

My Fiancé and I were in town for our anniversary and it couldn't have been better! The place was lovely and had so much character. The room was great, very crisp and clean I've never been to a B&B quite like this. It was very quiet and private with everything we needed in our room; one of the best sleeps...

I was a little put off by the other reviews but we took a chance and were we ever happy we did!
The Earle of Leinster B&B is located 5 minutes away from the uptown nightlight and restaurants and was even closer to the City Market.
Steve, our innkeeper, was gracious and accommodating he gave us insider tips on where...

If you dont mind staff who are clearly tired of being there,a bed that has a crinkly noisy plastic wrapped mattress with a comforter that WREAKS of pee, then it would be okay.

Upon a family break-up in 2006 my focus strayed from my B&B as my family of six turned into a family one. From 2006 to 2011 my focus was virtually rebuilding the Bed and Breakfast at the expense of my hospitality. A big mistake, Indeed. A new roof, new windows, extensive brickwork and landscaping made for a tired innkeeper...

Thsi old residence is in an old working class neighborhood that appears to be undergoing a restoration and gentrafication. The residential areas have sort of a gritty charm of a better time long past. The location is very good. You park your car in the street near the hotel. Seemed very safe. You can walk easily to most that the...

On one hand, this place isn't bad. The rooms are reasonably clean, the location isn't great but it isn't bad and breakfast was okay. But on the other hand, the hospitality you receive counters all the positives. I think the owner has the best of intentions but his brusque manner is a problem - at least it was to the...

We found our room to be large and very clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just what was promised and was very fresh and enjoyable. The location was ideal, a very short walk to downtown. We would certainly recommend this B & B to our friends. We have stayed in quite a few B &...

The location was my first priority and it certainly met that need. The "inn keeper " was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable of Saint John and nearby places of interest. He also served a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed being in Saint John so much that I stayed an extra day.
No hospitality - much more like a poorly run hostel.
Breakfast was some sort of orange colored liquid with slices of supermarket cake, a bowl of fruit, boiled eggs, slice of ham... our kids are both vegetarians...
We stayed there to easily get to the fundy ferry - not much help with directions. Fortunately a local driver led us there....
