We had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Saint John in a rennovated room. We were waterfront and found the staff helpful. Buffet breakfast was very good and the room was cleaned very well daily. We rented 2 rooms. My room was a harbor view and was excellent. My brother had a downtown-facing room. There are outside bars along the wharf and have bands playing. He had to have his room moved twice so that he could sleep. They play until midnight. This is a summer thing, so beware and spend the extra few dollars... more

We just completed our stay; two nights, at the Saint John Hilton. The property has a great location right on the harbour, with a spectacular view. We had a harbour view room and saw a freighter do what would be called a parallel park (with the help of two tugboats!). This is the second time we have visited this property.... more

Brigantine Lounge serves the best local brews - Moosehead (love the dark brews) and serves something unexpected - excellent food! I had a fantastic halibut - perfectly prepared (and hot!!!), along with crisply steamed vegetables and and excellent pilaf of brown rice and mixed grains. I've had the pleasure to stay here twice and look forward to staying again. The first was for a wedding - when we told the gentleman at the desk we were staying there for a wedding he upgraded our room at no cost (the bride and groom were also staying at the hotel). Unfortunately I would have expected more from a Hilton property. We had a difficult time finding the hotel with the help of our GPS since their published address was their mailing address, I'm happy to see that this issue appears to have been rectified.
