We were very pleased with the friendly staff at this hotel. The rooms were large and clean with bathrooms that appeared to be recently remodeled. There was a nice view of the bay from our windows. Breakfast was downstairs and included and nice variety of choices, as well as the Canadian specialties of beans and boiled eggs. If you have... More

We stayed one night on our journey back to MA from Nova Scotia. Check in a bit slow-but the rooms are clean and neat. A/C did not work very well-but well enough. Breakfast had a nice touch with the hardboiled eggs. A good value for the dollar. The owner added a nice touch to the bikes by laying a drying... More

Our original reservation for our group (6 motorcyclists) was lost at another hotel. The owner also let it slip, they had no A/C. We rebooked at the Econo Lodge. What a great surprise. Check in goes a little slow. That is my only complaint about this place. If they could streamline that process, PERFECT! Owner is very friendly, even came... More

We checked into the motel on Friday night and no one warned us that they were planning to roof all weekend. We would have gone elsewhere. We did understand that a tropical storm had taken place the previous weekend but we had booked in advance and no one called us to ask if we were o.k. with roofing taking place... More

Found the Econolodge in my AAA guide; very easy to drive to off of Highway 1. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had just be redone; the shower was very nice. There are two access doors - outside door to the parking lot and inside door to the corridor. They offer a free continental breakfast in the... More

We had checked out the two Hill* motels that received favorable reviews in Tripadvisor - and I don't understand why - just down the street and happened to drive by this property. At $80, it was good value, clean, and comfortable. It is on the outskirts and maybe 15 minutes to downtown, but for one night you can't go wrong.... More

We stayed one night while waiting to catch the ferry to Nova Scotia. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and price was right. We went to a restaurant recommended by the desk clerk, but were disappointed. Hopefully it was an off night for the restaurant.

This is a typical Econolodge. No frills, basic breakfast, standard room. Desk was not manned when we arrived and even when buzzed it took about five minutes to respond. Inexpensive it was an adequate stop over place.

On vacation for a few days with the better half. Needed to do some hiking in the nature preserve, be close to the reversing rapids, and collect granite orbs from the Bay of Fundy. The room was neat, clean, and fresh smelling. Breakfast was very adequate. Everyone was very friendly and courtious. Would stay again
