I booked this hotel after reading reviews on tripadvisor. Hotel was in great location and was near downtown Saint John. Room was nice and bathroom was good. We stayed here for one night with a voucher that was purchased at a charity auction and when we checked in they gave us a free upgrade to a King size room. The room was beautiful, just recently redone, new furniture. I'm not sure what the other rooms were like but ours was a suite with a separate sitting room... more

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were quick to suggest places to go and provided directions. The room was clean, warm and fresh. There was very little noise from outside which was impressive since it was quite busy in that part of the city. The hotel was close to shopping malls. There wasn't a lot of parking available.... more

Although the hotel looks fairly modest from the outside, the rooms inside are anything but modest. I have stayed in many hotels in my time and this ranks up there as being one of the best. Stopped here unexpectedly on a rainy night passing through Saint John. No reservation. Got a room with two double beds, microwave and fridge for $109. Spacious and spotless. Staff were friendly. Lovely lobby with large (free) breakfast area. Beds and linens above average. Very comfortable and quiet.. Might rate as excellent in its price range. Will stay here again. Definitely... more

When we arrived at the reception area the desk clerk immediately upgraded our room from 2 doubles to 2 queens because we requested a refrigerator. The room was spotless and appeared almost new. I think this hotel deserves something higher than a 2 star rating. Book online. The price is much cheaper. more
