We stopped in Saint John for one night on the way back to Maine. The room was very big and clean. The hotel had plenty of parking on surface lots and underground. We did not avail of the restaurant attached to the hotel. I expected a little more for breakfast, it was actually a little disappointing and quite scarce. Near... More

We stayed one night on our way to Prince Edward Island. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the hot breakfast was very good. The hotel was located right off the highway but there no places close to eat or shop.

We stayed here two nights. It looks like it is fairly new and everything is very clean and nice. Breakfast was good. The hotel is very near the city center but you need a car because you have to drive through a bridge to get to the center, or to go see the tides.

Stayed here June 20th-23rd for school reunion in Rothesay. I agree with all the positive reviews:great location right off the highway (without the noise), spotless rooms, large rooms, wonderful staff.

This hotel in St John was one of the most beautiful. Our room was huge with a fridge and safe. John at the check in desk was very friendly and helpful with where we should visit and eat. The breakfast served had a lot of options to choose from. Tons of free parking. Highly recommend this hotel!

Stopped here overnight as part of maritimes road trip. Right off highway. We were on 6th floor off back, so very quiet. Rooms huge, well appointed, clean, comfortable. My only disappointment was the breakfast. Very mediocre--everything out if a box or plastic wrap, unroofed bananas, no decaf/herbal tea. A step up in breakfasts would earn this place 5-stars in my... We stayed at this hotel on our trip going to Nova Scotia. The hotel was clean, spacious and breakfast was delicious with a large selection of hot foods....The hotel was close to downtown and the ferry to Digby. Recommendations for dinner were given as well as some of the sites. Would definitely stay again!!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, new, spacious and had a euro- touch for the decor. Parking was underground and easy to access. Beds were comfy and a plentiful breakfast included. Food was our only complaint. We arrived late and nothing to eat on site or nearby- so we ordered delivery Chinese which was a disaster... More

Stayed in ST John for 1 night on the way back to the US from Nova Scotia. The place was like a 5 star hotel, but at a bargain price. The beds were the most comfortable of our 2 week trip. The room was a little larger than a normal hotel room and very comfortable. The bathroom was like new.... More

Plenty to be pleased about at Chateau Saint John, even though it is another big-chain hotel with little character. Front desk service is helpful, friendly and welcoming, as were breakfast room staff. Paid $5 extra for a larger room and was not disappointed. A very large, well appointed room, comfortable bed (a very good sleep), plenty of pillows, clean and... More
