This hotel is enormous and our room was grand. Each room is named after a castle somewhere in the world. Our room, I assume others as well, was decorated a little over the top, as opposed to the simple style favored by most hotels today, this was not a negative, it just added to the eccentricity of the place. The... More

Spent another very restfull night at the chateau Moncton. It was a busy saturday night, but we heard nothing in our comfortable spacious room. I love the elegant decor and color schemes used. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Nice and relaxing to sit and look over the tidal bore and the boardwalk. Location to shopping and access to public transportation... More

This hotel is right on the river, so ask for a river view room. The rooms are well appointed, roomy and good beds, and a very decent hot breakfast included. The staff - very helpful. We sat outside on their deck and saw the bore coming and two guys surfing on the wave. It was a lot of fun.

Mattress like a cloud. I got the name of the maker from the desk clerk who said he had purchased one himself. In addition the room was huge - two queens, two comfy chairs with table adequate for small dining, a huge computer desk with built-in frig and an office chair, large bathroom, great view of river, and very very... We stayed 1 night at Chateau Moncton and were very satisfied. Our room was quite large and you could host a square dance in the bathroom. Plenty of space for our stuff. We had a river view and watched the tidal bore come in. The hotel is located on a boardwalk along the Chocolate River which provided a great place... More

The rooms are large, comfortable & very clean. The breakfast area is also large & comfortable. The hotel is easy to find & in a good location. The only recommendation I offer is definitely ask for a room facing the river. The rooms facing the road subject you to too much noise...there is a traffic light right in front of... More

The single queen room was perfect for a solo traveller--very clean, comfortable bed, mini fridge in the room, and a wonderful view of the Petitcodiac river. Loved the location as it was right on the boardwalk and an easy walk to downtown. Plenty of free parking, friendly staff, and breakfast on the patio overlooking the river......what more could anyone want?... More

We had a king size river view room, well worth the money ( $US140). Huge room, with a desk area, refrig, 2 wing chairs for relaxing, large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Décor is rather dark and stodgy but not a problem for us, we don't need trendy décor for one night. Staff very accommodating and helpful with local... More
