Just happened upon this gem of a hotel while preparing to leave Moncton - decided to stay the night. Excellent staff - genuinely interested in my wellbeing and helpful with advice and finding info I needed about other stuff. Fairly typical do-it-yourself breakfast but overall quite good, in an attractive room. Very clean throughout and neatly kept. Cannot beat the... More

We spent a night at the Rodd in early July and enjoyed our stay very much. The desk clerk asked us what kind of room we wanted and gave us a top floor one overlooking the tidal bore. The Rodd is centrally located and within reasonable walking distance to Champlain Mall and the Main St. restaurants. Great staff and a... More

I booked a room with 1 queen bed. The room was small by North American standards but functional. The biggest draw back was the proximity of the bed to the AC - I have never been to a hotel where the AC units are quiet - this was no exception so sleep was an intermittent affair with AC on. The... I'm a big fan of Rodd Hotels, but last time we stayed here it was old and dated. Since then, they have spent over 2 million on renos and it shows. I was in room 412. 2 queen beds, nice view of the Peticodiac, close to my favorite restaurant in Moncton, Pisces. Nice quiet pool area where I relaxed for... More

Room was tiny, and not much in line of amenities. The staff wasn't overly friendly. I think the rooms are nicer in the main section, we stayed in the section off to the back. The pool wasn't open. The bed was super comfortable which was great. But there wasn't really any other furniture in the room, and not much room... More

Stayed in the second floor king suite overlooking the street. Based on others' reviews here I wasn't sure if the street noise would bother me, but it turned out to be minimal and not a problem at all. The hot breakfast was a nice complimentary touch. Overall very satisfied with my stay--clean, comfortable and great value for money!

Was looking for a hotel within walking distance of the downtown core and this suited just fine.Hotel has been tastefully updated. Most comfortable bed I ever slept in. Included breakfast was ok. They have various getaway packages and we chose the "Keg Package" which came with a $75 gift card.

Room was a little small especially the bathroom. On the plus side the beds were very very comfy, clean, and had duvets which I much prefer. Breakfast was adequate, and location excellent. We were able to walk to restaurants and went to Pumphouse Brewery twice. Good food and beer. The hotel is next to the water with a lovely walkway... More

There was a nice breakfast buffet included and we would definitely stay here again. For us the best thing was the proximity to the restaurants and longest for great meals and nice music, all... More

Our first time staying at the Rodd, our room was quite comfortable, bathroom was a little small but very clean as was our room. We had a small dog with us and he could not have been more welcome. We were on the ground floor which was what our daughter requested when booking because my husband is handicapped, this worked... More
