This hotel is obviously doing upgrades to its rooms. Our room was very lovely and modern, comfortable bed and lovely furnishings, Our friends down the hall had a nice room but some of the furniture was a bit shabby. There were new furnishings stacked out of the way in the halls. The room was quiet and we enjoyed the pool... More

It can be well worth the money at the right price, but I wouldn't pay more than 90$ per night for it. The rooms are renovated and seem pretty nice but it was mostly cosmetic...you could tell that the establishment itself might need a bit more TLC, so I would say that the pictures of it are slightly misleading in... On Friday feb 6th we checked in. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. We were initially delighted. We spent little time in our room as we were going out for supper and then to the comedy festival. Returned late in the evening and proceeded to call it a night. The room was extremely warm and there was no... More

Our room was super clean. The heat was on and we couldn't shut it off. We had to have the windows opened to cool it down. We asked at the front desk how to shut it off but they didn't know. The bed was too soft for our backs. The mini fridge was loud and never shut off.

I'm impressed with how the new owners have redecorated and re-branded. with the johnny's, this is a great value! The breakfast deal is fair. Only thing that keeps me from coming back is that the pool is TOO cold and the hot tub is TOO hot. Can't sit in either, which is the big bonus that I go to hotels... More

Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed our new Deluxe rooms and New Olyo restaurant when you stayed at the hotel. Our pool is heated to hotel industry averages at 82 degrees and our hot tub at 102 degrees. We hope to see you back in the near future. Take care, Francis General General Manager More

My fiance and I have stayed at this establishment multiple times before and it's better each time. The staff were very friendly. The manager Eric was great and super understanding when we accidentally booked our room for the wrong night and was able to hold it for us until the correct date even though it was after the time limit.... We stayed at this hotel on November 15 2014; 3 friends in a double room on the second floor. The hotel is old but most of the areas / rooms have been updated. Our room was updated except for the bathroom which was really old; broken tiles, mold, no fan so always steamy. We had no issues with water temperature.... More

I was another one of the 4 pals that stayed on Nov 8/9. I can echo everything that was said in the "Amazing" review. To the owners, you gentlemen know what you are doing, BRAVO. These days customer service is all the talk but your team at V put it into action. Kudos to Eric especially, as he made us... More

4 gal pals stayed at this Hotel Nov 8&9 during our two day getaway weekend from Halifax. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the front entrance modern decor. Our room was on the 2nd floor, not rennovated yet but completely comfortable. To the owners, your fabulous staff at this Hotel need to be commended for their excellent customer service. Eric,... Staff were very friendly, and spoke both English and French. Check in was a breeze, and the lady behind the counter made the process very efficient. The room was nicely decorated with modern fixtures. However; the bathroom was outdated, the tiles were brown (used to be white) and there were water stains on the dropped ceiling. Further, the hotel smelled... More
