The Lakeview Inn was very clean and the rooms were large and well appointed. My only complaint was that there were 3 bus loads of women who came into the hotel that night who were in town for a bingo tournament and they totally took over the breakfast room the next morning. Stayed here 1 night on our way to NS - very nice looking hotel - close to amenities, very clean, beds are very comfortable, friendly staff, free wi-fi, Tim Hortons walking distance away,typical continental breakfast. Definitely would stay here again

We were there for a whle week! The rate was awesome about $90.00 a night. Room was huge. King suite with pull out. Breakfast every morning saved us $. Had stayed at this place a number of years ago (believe it was County Inn then) but it was much newer. It needs to be renovated....carpets are stained, and bedspreads and towels should be replaced as they are quite worn. Hallways are dark and dingy. However, staff were friendly and there was a basic breakfast included.

Stayed one night at Lakeview Inn and found it was good value. Front desk person was very friendly, efficient and able to answer our questions as we do not know the city. The wifi worked well. Lots of water pressure. The hotel is connected to the Country Inn chain in Bangor and looks and feels very much like that hotel.... More
