We stayed two nights in the Rifles suite (above the garage) over the Thanksgiving long weekend and thought it was terrific. Cindy and Ian were excellent hosts. The room was comfortable and quiet (the jacuzzi and private balcony were both nice perks!) and the breakfast was delicious. We loved being able to walk downtown across the footbridge in 20 minutes.

Great location, immaculately clean, and our host, Cindy, could not have been more delightful. She recommended a fabulous restaurant for dinner, and the breakfast she served was pure delight! We left The Colonel's Inn wishing we had another day or two to spend in Fredericton and hope to visit again some day.

My wife and I stayed here Sept 2011 and what a great find. Great location, can walk to downtown from the Colonel's inn across the walking bridge . The room we had was very clean and the breakfast is out of this world. Check this place out if you want to chill in Fredericton.
