We have stayed three times at Brennan's and enjoyed every stay. Noreen and John are so welcoming. This Victorian house on the St. John River is beautifully appointed with your comfort in mind. We have stayed in rooms 5, 4, and 3 and they are all lovely-- with wonderful beds and pillows, furnished with the Victorian heritage of this house... More

This b&b is situated in a huge, beautiful 2 1/2-story 1880s home overlooking the river. The home has original architectural details throughout with the most interesting feature being the 3-part sliding interior window shutters. Our room was extremely spacious with period furniture and all the modern conveniences, plus a bright, modern en suite bathroom. The room also had a large-screen... More

We loved the house itself, it had such history and character and our hosts John & Noreen were made for this industry. They really fit the part. Our room was cozy and beautiful and very clean. We wished we had, had an opportunity to stay longer than one night. Breakfast was great. We just really enjoyed our stay and would... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights (July 4th and 5th) during our two weeks vacations through Maine, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I made the reservation online a month ahead for room #5. The room is nicely furnished and the en-suite bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The room has great view to the St. John River across... More

We arrived very late on a holiday night, and were welcomed warmly by the innkeeper. Our room was nicely furnished and had a kitchenette which was great for us. The bathroom was large and had a separate tub and shower. Our room had one of the A/C units that sits on the floor and vents out the window and it... More

We stayed for four nights in June, 2014 and absolutely loved our stay. The house is fantastic and our hosts were very gracious. The home is in a great location with an easy walk downtown. We also stayed in a local four-star hotel and found that the bed-and-breakfast was far better value. Highly recommended!

We stayed overnight and found it extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicous, fresh fruit and berries, broccoli and bacon quiche, homemade bread toasted and jam. The home is 125 years old with beautiful woodwork and furnishings. Bathroom was nicely updated. I would highly recomend it.

Only stayed one night, but the room - and the whole house - was spectacular! Extremely comfy bed, warm (radiant heat floor in bathroom - gotta love that!), free international calling (we are from US), fast wifi, beautiful sunrise over St. John River, beautiful neighborhood. The breakfast was delicious and hearty. Owners were very personable and accommodating. Might be a... More

My husband and I stayed here for a night, it was cheaper than a hotel downtown and way nicer and lots of room.. there are different typs of rooms. We stayed in a nice modern one, it had a beautiful bed and leather couch and a wonderful bathroom with jets and changing colour lights. The sheets were nice and fresh.... More

What a great stop, we stayed at this beautiful B&B on Wednesday and were truly amazed at the charm and beauty of this old house, the woodwork in this home is amazing, pictures do not do it justice, everything is from another era, craftsmanship, beauty, details, it is a work of art. Our room was beautiful, spacious and inviting, our... More
