its a nice hotel to stay . its staff members are really nice, friendly and helpful. the breakfast offered was nice too. i will be back in no time. its facilities are pretty modern when compared to the historical background of the hotel.

Where to start... From a historic perspective, this 1914 hotel should be a treasured landmark. The front was surrounded by what could only be described as flop house tenants. Unfortunately, it appears that there hasn't been a renovation since being built. Old and worn out. No in and out privileges with the parking garage, so expensive if you're here on... More

We attended the Promise Keepers conference in Winnipeg on March 6 & 7, and stayed at this hotel. The foyer and restaurant are absolutely beautiful but the rooms and halls reflect the age of the hotel. It is in dire need of updating, but given the cheap rates ($95 for 2 beds) they probably won't ever afford it. Staff were... More

My boyfriend and I are visiting Winnipeg as his father is ill and the Marlborough is close to the facility where he is located. Although the hotel is old and could APPEAR unclean, if you take a close look the housekeeping staff (who are an absolute delight I might add) do an excellent job considering what they're working with. You... More

I stayed at the Marlborough when I came to Winnipeg for Christmas shopping. Price was awesome, but then again... You get what you pay for. The room was UNBEARABLY HOT. You are not able to turn off the heat in the room. When I called front desk for them to do something about the heat, the response was "you should... More

We stayed here because of the close proximity to the Garrick Centre which hosts many great touring acts. As a Guest Services Manager myself, I hold other properties to a high standard and am constantly noticing how other hotels operate. Front desk agents were friendly and helpful, dressed very professionally and had good conduct. The pub had charm and the... More

Attended the candle light vigil for Colten Pratt, who has been missing in Winnipeg since November 6, 2014. As the Marlborough was the last place he has known t be seen, it was felt that this was the best place to hold a vigil in support of his safe return and his grieving family. The Marlborough Hotel was kind enough... More

100 yrs old and still has the original furniture in it. The hot tub and water slide didn't work. The sheets had holes in them. paint was peeling off the walls. Dirty socks in the elevator. Party next room to us which kept us awake until 4 am. The only good thing about this hotel is located near to the... More

Dear Lance W, I appreciate you submitting your opinion on your visit to The Marlborough. I am sorry that you were dissatisfied with your stay. I have looked into your comments regarding the hot tub and water slide. The hot tub has been repaired and is fully operational - it was a simple stuck emergency switch and the waterslide is... More
