Having booked a room for 5 people, I was not impressed that upon arrival our room was under a maintenance call and would not be available. The motel staff were apologetic but had only a King room with one bed and a King suite with one bed. They offered us one room for the price of the room we'd originally... More

Attended a class reunion that was scheduled at this hotel. Decided to stay there overnight to avoid travelling to another location and do some shopping at Polo Park and Costco before heading home the following day. Hotel was in close proximity to both.

The pool area is pure nightmare fuel. Clumps of hair and mud pools dot the ground. Stray Band-Aids float atop glacier-cold pool waters. The hot tub is lukewarm and distinctly piss-hued. Free from lifeguards and discernible rules, hordes of bleeding, battered children tumble down the rickety waterslide, human pile-ups, their disembodied shrieks giving the scene a constant, dreadful background hum.... They cleaned the hot tub water twice a week, Sunday & Wednesday. We went there on a Friday, the water was dirty & looked kind of green. Wasn't sure if it was the lights or my eyes were playing tricks on me. Unfortunately, they weren't! They cleaned the hot tub Sunday, I went back to check it. Clear, clean and... More

Stayed at this hotel as it was the location for a seminar that I was going to. Hotel room was nice with standard features, however found the mini fridge in the room to be quiet loud and had to unplug it in the middle of the night to get some sleep. The room overall was clean, the staff were friendly... More

Recently stayed here for two nights, as I was on a work trip to Winnapeg. I stayed for two nights. first night I arrived really late, and when i got to my room, the floor looked as thought it hadn't been vacuumed for a week! The tiles outside in the hall, by the elevator, which was just outside my room... More

We asked for pet free due to allergies, and were told no problem. Couldn't breathe all night and in the morning found there was pet hair in the corners of the room, and found out there was a dog next door. I thought they would have one floor without pets! You can't take the stairs - the doors to the... More

We stayed at Canad Inn Polo Park on December 16, 2014. We decided that its location was convenient and the pricepoint reasonable (for a quick Christmas shopping trip to Winnipeg). There were three of us staying in a king room: myself, my husband and our toddler daughter. When we made the reservation we asked to have a rollaway bed brought... More

We have three large dogs and requested a pet friendly room when booking with Expedia. This information was not passed from Expedia to the hotel, however, the friendly girl at the front desk happily switched our room and gave us dog treats and dog pick up bags. I prefer a quieter entrance on the ground floor when travelling with the... More

To our valued guest, I am so happy to hear we were able to accommodate you and your furry family members during your recent stay with us. Currently the only floor that is pet friendly is the third floor which requires use of the elevator to access......I wish there were another option to offer. We look forward to seeing you... More

I recently stayed at the Canad inn for a conference.. Was my first time at this hotel and I would not stay here again. Though the bed was comfortable and clean, the carpet had gum embedded in it in several places. There were dark marks on the wall and paint peeling in several areas. The lamps were dirty and scuffed.... More
