My boyfriend and I booked a room at this hotel expecting nothing but a nice clean fresh room. But once we saw the room size and all the added bonuses like a kitchenette and a separate living room. We found ourselves wanting to spend more time in the hotel room then out and about doing exhibits! I recommend this hotel... More

The staff were friendly and accommodating, the facilities in the room/suite included a full kitchen ( that we didn't use) and very comfy king bed and pillows. Very nice. One question… do hotels allow mixed smoking/non rooms on the same floor? Seemed we smelled cigarettes here and there.

The room was above and beyond what we were expecting for the cost. If you're in Winnipeg and have a dog I would definitely recommend staying here. For significantly cheaper than some of the other large-chain motels we received a King with an in-suite kitchen. Not a kitchenette but a full kitchen. Oven, large fridge with a freezer, Keurig coffee... More

Executive room suite was fantastic, but it was too warm for me and the family. Had to call front desk so that they may provide us with some complimentary fans. We stayed on the 22nd floor and the view during day & night was superb! Would stay here again. Just be sure to pay in cash, less confusing during checkout...

Stayed a couple of nights while we explored the downtown area - it worked out very well with the Forks, Exchange District, Legislature and Osborne Village all in easy walking distance. Good to have a bit more space than your average hotel room and a full kitchen provides options for meals.

I typically travel solo on business, and have my family with me this week. We are enjoying a five-night stay at the PLR. As a business traveler, it's nice to spread out and have a distinct "no work" zone in the bedroom. As a family traveler, the extra space is even more important for letting the kids stretch out and... Very close to train station, forks market, human rights museum (opening soon), baseball diamond and osborne village. There's also a few concert venues near by. The decor was really nice, very up to date. Parking was secure and cheap. The hotel is downtown so there are a few characters about but the hotel itself is very secure with great staff.... More

Sorry for the wrong date, but I just had to make sure everyone knew how great this hotel is . My family and I stayed here in July in 2012 and loved it. Everyone was nice and the hotel is wonderful. It's close to everything. Nice big rooms. Very safe hotel in the middle of the city. Walking distance to... More

Stayed in a King suite - managed to get the top floor! View is amazing!! The suite was spacious and very clean - the only thing they missed was the forehead smudges on the window (people checking out the view I expect). The kitchenette was well stocked with nice dishes and cutlery, and there was even a Keurig and coffee... More

I have very mixed reviews. The pros: - Clean rooms - Phenomenal service - Good location Cons: - Somewhat pricey for value - No continental breakfast - Kitchenette not the most accommodating/practical - No pool on site For the price you pay I found it to be ok, but I've been to better for that price. The kitchenette was VERY... More
