Amazingly romantic location and world class service, this place has a lot of character almost never found. Comfortable bed and first class room! A light sleeper might have a few issues here due to the age of the structure but I found everything amazing!

All staff I encountered were absolutely lovely. We had dinner in the Palm Lounge, the food is wonderful and reasonably priced. My room was so comfortable, if I could afford it, I would buy one of their beds with all the wonderful bedding for my home.

Stayed at this hotel whilst visiting family in January 2015. Stayed in a very well maintained and clean 8th floor room. This hotel balances old and new very well, with original features which may look tired of not for the well presented and quality surroundings. The linen and mattress were lovely, the room spacious and warm, and the shower a... More

We stayed in room 614, great view through the window. The room was right next to the elevator, and we could easily hear when someone got on or off, but it was a very quiet night. The bed was absolutely amazing, so comfortable! And the service was great. We loved everything about our stay, including the discounted breakfast buffet the... More

Great lobby and best breakfast in Winnipeg. Rooms are getting better, though a bit stuffy for some. Great live music in the lobby restaurant to go along with terrific food and service. Near other restaurants and sites as well. Indoor parking, connection to gym, and lobby convenience store all set this hotel apart.

We took advantage of the Bed & Breakfast special which included passes to the Festival du Voyageur, annual winterfest in St. Boniface. It was a wonderful retreat. This lovely historic hotel takes you back into the early days with its grandeur. Our lunch in the Palm Lounge was a delightful break from regular routine. And the courtesy passes to the... More

The Fort Garry was exactly what we expected. It was just like the pictures. We walked in and the lobby is beautiful. The marble stairs and beautiful music were really stunning. We checked in at 1:00pm and because check in wasn't until 3:00pm we were fully prepared to have to wait for our room. But to our surprise they had... More

This hotel in all its grandeur and modern conveniences, claims to have "over-booked" our room choice. They chose to simply put us in a random room choice, obviously hoping I wouldn't notice. I specifically booked a room with a two person soaker tub and rainfall shower - a romantic get away for a 20 years too late honeymoon. The king... More

We hosted our Canadian Association of Educators of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at the Fort Garry Hotel. From check-in to check out we were treated like royalty. This was a very luxurious conference without the luxurious pricetag. The food was amazing, the staff were amazing! Sherraine, the director of sales, was wonderful! She knew exactly what we needed...
