Previous reviewers' comments about the 1980s trappings are true. This hotel is REALLY tired -- rather depressingly so, in my view. Plusses: the free WiFi, the heated bathroom floors, the ability to open the patio door to let fresh air in, and the lack of extensive promotional literature are about the only positives for the room. The negatives: the tiredness... More

Here for a conference for 3 nights. The positives: - very friendly and helpful staff - very comfy bed - clean room - heated bathroom floors (a minor feature I know) The negatives: - the hotel is in dire need of a makeover (peeling paint, mouldy caulking, outdated décor - it seems to be stuck in the 1980s) - noisy... The Delta Winnipeg is extremely well located to the Winnipeg Convention Centre which can be accessed via an enclosed bridge without going outside. Many other downtown facilities are also accessible via a network of elevated covered walkways in the downtown area as well. You can purchase liquor, take in a hockey game, visit Millennium Library, eat, or visit a drugstore... More

Thank you for your comments. You're right, we have some funny characters who regularly go above and beyond to brighten just about anyone's day. When a team member loves what they do, it show through their work and their interactions, and we're pleased to hear you enjoyed it. Our location can't be beat, and while the hotel is tired, it... THis is a nice facility in the Winnipeg downtown to host meetings. The meeting rooms are good but if the windows are added that will make them excellent. The staff is very coordial and helpful. Concerige is a uselful ervice at this location. Front desk staff needs to be more knowledgeable if there are special facilities available for signature club members.... More

Thank you, Rakesh, for sharing your comments on your recent stay at Delta Winnipeg. We are always pleased to hear how not only your stay was, but how well your entire event was. Your suggestion on having the business centre located on the banquet floors is a good one and we will forward this information along to decision makers for... More

Here for a conference. Hotel is attached to the Winnipeg Convention Centre. Booked Signature Club room. Very disappointing. Too small. Rusty balcony railing. AC is very noisy. Small bathroom had no towel racks but floor was heated. Breakfast was limited to cereals, fruit, yogurt and breads. Not enough tables to sit at. Elevators can be slow. Air quality in hallways... Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments. We are disappointed to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. While the Signature Club lounge is available for all guests of the Signature Club floors, at times it may get busy especially at breakfast while everyone is starting their day off. We always do our best to accommodate any requests,... More

I arrived at the hotel to find the parking lot elevator to the hotel was being upgraded, so I needed to go to another elevator that was a fair distance from the Delta parking area and the hotel itself. It would have nice for the hotel to advise this on their website so that I would have unloaded my vehicle... More

Dear Guest, The day your review was posted, was the day we had our grand opening of our brand new parking garage elevator - which was a very exciting event as it has been a long replacement project. It is our goal to ensure each guest is made aware of the renovation, which is why we include a short notice... More

The hotel is very centrally located and it was a stone's throw from the office where I was sent to work for 12 days. Therein lies the problem. Downtown Winnipeg is not nice. The few people wandering the street after the offices close at 5:00 p.m. and during the week ends are not the type you would like to encounter.... More

I conducted a seminar here and was very impressed with the staff and the hotel. Just a wonderful experience!!! until you walked outside... That being said, it is still a great place, because of the people working inside. I just don't appreciate being ridiculed because I won't give a drink of my coffee and then being told I "have no... Dear Gerald, Even though you are not a guest of the hotel, we thank you for your comments. Many visitors are naturally uncomfortable in a downtown urban setting, and we understand this. The actions of others is not something we have control or influence over, especially those outside our property/place of business. Your rating of our hotel based on the... More

My wife and I decided to stay here for our 2nd anniversary, using the Delta "Anniversary Special Rate" package. They upgraded us, for free, to a "Signature Club" room. This hotel is not up to Delta standards. The room was dated and was not completely clean. There was what appeared to be black mold around the bathtub. Our room was close to the elevator and was fairly noisy. The only reason we stayed was because of the close proximity to the MTS Centre.
