The Charterhouse hotel is very convenient for anyone doing business in the downtown area of Winnipeg. It is close to the major business centres, the courts as well as entertainment. The MTS Centre, home of the NHL Winnipeg Jets, is within a 5 minute walking distance.

My wife and I stayed on new year's eve, as it was a block from the convention centre. The room was a little dated, but very clean. The pillows were newer and we had a warm, quiet sleep. We did not try any of the food outlets. It was everything you would expect from a best western.

Paid $160 for one night. Hotel DOES NOT have parking so parking is an additional $7.50. Check out was extremely slow, because 'Holly' was too busy conversing with her manager and didnt have the mental capacity to multitask. For the rate, your better off staying in a better hotel in WInnipeg.
