This hotel is in a great location for anyone wanting to be downtown. It is a short walk to the convention center but.... The lobby and hallways are filthy, there are questionable people hanging out there at all hours and it is very noisy. Although it is cheap stay somewhere else. more

Location and price couldn't be beat. The room was clean and the bathroom, while needing updating, wasn't gross. The lobby and halls definitely need updating, making the hotel look a lot seedier than the rooms really are. Staff was accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again. more

Went to the Nickleback concert at the MTS Centre (2minute walk). Great Concert. 2 star clean room across from the convention centre get the internet rate, 59 with the coupon printed off their internet site some sketchy people in the place 2 young men watched me oddly as i borrowed an iron from the front desk. one guy wanted to fight. he had too much to drink. no amenities. i would stay here... more

We have stayed many times at the Carlton. They are clean and reliable and downtown. Ask for the internet rate...you should get under $50. Recommend it. more
