We booked this polar bear trip a year in advance and couldn't wait. We decided to deviate from the 'program' and took the train from Winnipeg to Churchill. We didn't receive the promised itenary beforehand, and upon arrival in Churchill; with the max temp being -11 degr C and the wind howling at 70-90 km/h, there was no one to... more

I stayed in the Tundra Buggy Lodge in November of 2001. I was on a trip to Cape Churchill to see polar bears, we never got there even though we paid a premium price for the experience there was no refund for not reaching our destination. The mobile lodge couldn't be towed out because of weather conditions. Apparently this happens... more
