This place is nice and cozy and is what I expected in Churchill. It is close to everything (everything is close to everything in Churchill). Super helpful and friendly staff, home baked banana bread muffins, and free wifi. The only thing that turned me off is that I found 5 different hairs 3 different colors in the bathroom. Other than... Rooms were very clean and cozy, with lcd tv, big fridge, two doble beds, keurig coffee maker, big bathroom. Continental breakfast was included with pancakes, home made muffins, coffee, cereal, bagels,etc.. There is a gift shop inside with lots of souvenirs, t-shirts, go pro cameras, etc.. The owner was very nice as well. I will highly recommend this place to... More

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this location. Our rooms was big. The bed was very good for sleeping. Everything was in perfect shape. Roomy breakfast room and reception area. The owner and staff are so pleasant and so helpful. It was nice coming in June as it was slow paced but very much to see and... More

If you expect to find primative accomodations and think you will need to "rough it" in Churchill you really should not stay here. The Polar Inn can hold it's own as a top notch hotel anywhere. To find such a great place in such a remote location is amazing. Spotless, modern, large rooms with all the comforts you can ask... More

I have stayed at the Polar Inn a few times over the years, and find myself returning there time and again. The rooms are clean and cozy, the continental breakfast is a nice start to the day. During my last visit, the owner joined me every morning for breakfast, and engaged in good conversation.

This hotel was perfect for a short stay in Churchill. The rooms were basic, but clean, with heating and the beds were comfortable. You don't need much more than that in a chilly little town in northern Canada! Breakfast was included in the cost of the room, and you could make your own waffles! Even though Churchill is very small,... More

Churchill is a tough place to live and work - with a few short weeks of intensive tourism activities so I'd expected a far worse accommodation. Then, most of our group ended up at the Tundra and 5 couples were displaced to the Polar so I'm thinking this will be really bad. Not! Our room was clean and the beds... More

Spend four nights at the Polar Inn. The rooms were basic: cramped but clean with nice hot showers. The staff were friendly, but not very outgoing as previous reviews had noted. Next time in town, I think we would like to stay at the Seaport where under one roof, you can have your meals and drinks without going outside in... More

Stayed here for five nights in early October and found it to be great in every way. The staff in particular were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean with everything we needed. We also liked the location. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family (and anyone else traveling to Churchill).
