Hotel has a pool and good patio area to meet up at. Hotel is very quiet and sound. Good place to spend a few nights with the family. I would recommend staying away from the lobby or stairway to avoid any noise. All rooms are in good shape. Restaurant is more on the higher price side to eat at.

The Royal Oak is a decent hotel to stay in. Large, good restaurant, good size pool and a huge waterslide. The staff are polite and friendly. The beds and pillows are better than average, and everything is clean. The rooms have an odd configuration though; I had a huge living area but the bedroom area was tiny. There is only... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night on business. The room was comfortable, with lots of space. It had somewhat dated decor and was a bit run down. The comfortor had small tears, and the furniture had obvious ware. The bed was quite hard, and the room was hot, I opened the window to get fresh air. It was... More

First time I've been back to the Royal Oak in a couple of years, but the price on Hotels.com was good and it was very close to a weekend training I was taking, so was a good choice. Staff were great, friendly and professional. My room on the first floor (133) was clean and comfortable, with appreciated extras like having... More

Stayed Dec 20, 2014, complained at the front desk that the room was way too hot, but was told you can't move rooms after 8:00 pm it was 8:30 pm. The tv was stuck on the treehouse cartoon channel which was great for the 6 year old in the room, but not so great for adults. It was very loud,... More

I've stayed at the Royal Oak many times, and it's still a favorite of mine. The restaurant food is quite good and the rooms are very spacious and modern. It's still in a great location, close to everything. Great place to hold meetings.

The room was 78 degrees F or 25 degrees Celsius when we arrived. We couldn't adjust the hot or cold because the hotel runs on a boiler which had kicked on the day before but it hadn't had time to adjust, as we were told by Management. The shower was full of mold, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned... More

We stayed at the Royal Oak because the conference we were attending was held there. We booked a "VIP King Suite". We had to use our card key to get us to the floor. The room was quite spacious. There was a separate room for the bed. The middle section of the room consisted of a couch, desk, TV, bar... More
