We stayed at the Whistler Resort and Club. We had what is called a one bedroom suite. It sleeps 4 people. A very nice setup: Upon entering the suite, you enter into a small hallway enough for your skies and such. From here their are two doors. One leading to the bedroom with full bath and the other to the... More

I was a bit worried about staying here after reading some of the reviews below. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The place is certainly not run-down as other reviewers have suggested, it's just that the decor is simple and slightly dated (ex. unfinished wood paneling in the hallways, very '70s looking bathroom counter). There is NOT a... More

The Bates Motel of Whistler! While being an older property, there is no excuse for stained, holy sheets and blankets - and bugs in the bed. The lighting in the unit was so dark that you could barely see the stained, gross carpet. The sliding closet doors were off their tracks which made using the closet impossible. The synthetic blankets... More

This place looked like a run down condo hiding in the corner of the street and the sign was made out of a small piece of wood. You will pass it if you blink your eyes. The room had a kitchen, but the microwave button was broken, there was not enough cook ware, and the pot in the cabinet was... More

Yes - this is extremely affordable ($150/night), however - the pipes scream when you turn the water on, the bathroom door is rotting at the bottom, there is no telephone in the room, the mattress is ~10 years old, and the walls are paper thin. We came across some very rowdy guests next door and planned an escape from the... More

We arrived later than we said we would due to a long drive, and the reception was closed. Luckily, we were able to collect our key as it had been left in a key safe. Staff were very helpful, and provided free tea, coffee and biscuits on reception. They even lent us a kettle to use in our own room.... More

Whistler Blackcomb is a FABULOUS world class ski resort - with prices to match (bring lots of money) - so it is a pleasure to find an affordable place like the Whistler Resort and Club. The plusses: * great price ($150 CAD for a studio with full kitchen, couch, Murphy bed) * lovely hot tub and sauna * location just... More

We stayed at this property for 6 nights in March 2007. We had a suite with a full kitchen, dining area, sitting area and murphy bed for CAD$150 a night which is fantastic value for Whistler in the peak season. There is a linen change after 3 days, but you do have to do your own garbage removal. The decoration... More
