We went to this lodge on March 21 for 2 nights. As it is at least a 3 -4 hour ski up to the lodge which is at 4500 ft. we got a ride up on a ski-doo driven by Patrick late Friday afternoon. That was a 1/2 hour ride through beautiful winter wonderland. Our skis and baggage were pulled... More

My daughter and I decided to spend some much needed bonding time together, away from it all. Our experience was nothing less than perfection! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, from our experience at the base, thanks Emily, right up to the lodge itself. Jason and Michele do a fantastic job running the lodge. The food was incredible and Jason... More

Our stay was Jan 27, just for one night. We were a group of four, my 2 "kids", both in their 20's and my brother and I. We stayed in the Solitude suite on the 2nd floor with 3rd floor loft. Nice, roomy and warm. We arrived early afternoon and were greeted by Michelle, who gave us a nice introduction... More

Our group was six people (three were here in 2013) from Feb 16 - 18, 2014. It took us about 5 hours to snowshoe in due to the heavy snow. It was beautiful though. The hosts, Michelle and Jason were friendly and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable, I thought.....but according to our 3 friends, the food and service... More

Arrived at ten on a Sunday morning, started up Real Life trail by 11 (snowshoeing). About -3 at the bottom and snowing. Five hours later we arrived at the lodge to be greeted by Michelle and Jason. From bottom to top this experience was great! Appies at 5:30 included a wonderful vegetable gyoza, potato skins and chips and dip followed... More

My husband and I visited the Journeyman Lodge for a quick Valentines getaway. Our visit was perfect. The setting is spectacular, the lodge so cozy, food delicious and the hosts were just great. We stayed in one of the suites with a queen bed and an en-suite on the 2nd floor. The room was on the back side of the... More

I have stayed twice a Journeyman Lodge both times joining the Natural Treking snowshoe in/out tours. The Lodge is beautiful with three floors offering a dining room, lounge area, bedrooms and bathrooms. The Lodge has all the services and amenities you would come to expect at a regular lodging facility. The staff here has always been excellent and provide a... More

We spent two nights at the lodge. The setting is amazing, the lodge is great, and the experience is out of this world. We took the option to ski in, and it was quite rewarding despite the hard work. We were greeted at the lodge by the amazing hosts Jason and Michelle. They basically took care of our every need... More

We went for two nights over New Years and loved the place. We classic skied in and it took three hours. We went slow because I was 18 weeks pregnant so wasn't moving too fast. The lodge is in a beautiful valley and you really feel like you are getting away. The food was great! Dinner is a four course... More
