My stay at the alpine lodge wasn't one of the better hostels I have visited, you couldn't lock the door to your room and there were no lockers to put your stuff in. No power points near the beds which is pretty annoying and didn't really like the owners demeanour and attitude. Is in a decent location and decently priced.... More

Stayed for three nights with several of my friends and we had an amazing vacation! Great hostel - very cozy and outdoorsy. Rooms were well-furnished (bunk beds were adorable!). We even had our own kitchen in one of the rooms. Beautiful location; feels like you're camping yet living very comfortably at the same time! Nice market and cafe close by.... More

By "breakfast" they mean hard boiled eggs and toast. Interested in the jacuzzi? Its only running once or twice a week. I tried asking Jeff, the manager about opening it up. He seemed disgruntled when I woke him up from his busy mid-week afternoon nap only to give me attitude and confrontation. The wifi is terribly slow. You only get... More

Sorry about your feelings! This is a hostel, a rather fine one at that and not the Ritz. Breakfast is toast, PB & J, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, Orange Juice and maybe something else every now and then. And it is included with your $40 - $45 rate for free. The Jacuzzi is emptied, cleaned and filled every day,... More

The lodge is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and has a good location ( bus #1 stops near by and it is 15 min ride to the gondola). The price per night for a shared room is $50 which includes a basic continental style breakfast served from 7:30am. Lines and towels are provided, sleeping bags are not allowed. There are... More

Great hostel in Whistler. Some college buddies and I were looking for an affordable place to stay after all of the airbnb places got snapped up and were recommended this place by one of the people there. It exceeded all expectations, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, the owner Geoff very friendly, kind, and accommodating. It also included a... More

Stayed here for all of November whilst getting everything sorted for the ski season. Owner Geoff was great, lots of local knowledge that he was always keen to share, and staff are all over it - lodge was cleaned every day. Awesome living room with massive couches, open fire and a huge tv, not your average hostel! Best place to... More

Great place to stay in alpine whistler. Friendly management and staff, clean and quiet. Breakfast is a great asset before heading out onto the slopes for the day. Will recommend to friends and family.

One inn maintained well but which does not fill its promises totally. Although the owner Jeff advised us the small local café to have supper, whose place we appreciated, we much less appreciated the breakfast which he was of use to us the following morning who was of an extreme commonness... Good thing the room was big and that the... More

The location was good but the service was bad. We had reserved for four people, but I got the impression that Jeff filled up the place before our arrival and left us a room with only a queen and a single. Not even a single extra pillow was available so he said he "wouldn't mind" if we used a pillow... More

Sorry about your stay. We are a small place and when it fills up somethings get overlooked. Since your stay, we have changed all the rooms, adding and changing beds. Due to our popularity and customer requests we now have all bunks in every room. No more lumpy futons! As well, many customers spoke to us about the reservation system... More

A great location with great views of the mountains and excellent value for money in Whistler known for being expensive. Great host, very knowledgeable and excellent kitchen and spa facilities. Alos, a great cafe nearby which made it easy to not need to go far for food. Perfect! Would definitely recommend and stay again.
