Pros: Great location, helpful and friendly staff, retains a personal and intimate feel (unlike the Westin, PP, etc). Rooms are clean, kitchen well equipped and beds comfortable. Cons: Room toilets are in need for some improvements as fixtures are getting old. Only a fixed shower head (with mediocre water pressure) which for the price of the room is a bit... More

The Sundial claims to be a Boutique Hotel... This is not true, a lodge at best. A hotel has services available such as: in-room dining, outside telephone lines, breakfast in the hotel... these and others are not available. So therefore the Sundial can call itself at best a lodge! Furthermore, a hotel has educated staff that give the idea of... More

Dear Afvf123, I appreciate you taking the time to review the Sundial Boutique Hotel. I am glad you enjoyed our unbeatable location and the cleanliness of the Sundial suites. I have stayed here several times. The seperate bedroom is more than you get at many of the more epensive hotels and the access to the lifts and main village cannot be beat. Being smaller seems to lead to much better service as well. The rooms could be better appointed but it is still one of the best all things... More

Rooms are excellent; getting a suite for the price of a room at any of the other mountainside hotels is a great deal. Staff were uniformly excellent during our stay, knowing our room number on sight inside a day and incredibly helpful booking taxis, restaurants etc.

we stayed at the sundial for 3 weeks. We are repeat customers because - friendly staff who can't do enough for you, great location, just meters from the gondolas, and nice spacious rooms. Because of how long we stay we go for a deluxe one bedroom, or a deluxe one bedroom with a hot tub. Be aware, because of its... More

We stayed here last September for 4 days, and it was perfect. Location is great, but Whistler is an easy place to walk/get around. Very near to cheaper public parking lots if you don't want to pay for their closer/attached parkade. You can always pull your vehicle up to the hotel on/off load and then park your car. Room was... My partner and I stayed here on a recent trip to Whistler, and cannot speak highly enough of the hotel, their service and facilities. The room was perfect. Very spacious, full-size kitchen, very comfy beds and heated floors in the bathroom! We also indulged in the hot tub on the roof a couple of nights. The location is amazing. Right... More

We booked a trip on (for us) a short 3 week notice from FL...wanted to go skiing and take the boys (11 & 15). We were used to staying in nicer hotels (our last two vacations were at the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole & in Kona), and we wanted something similar, but accommodating the kids - a hard task... The first time we went up here we got a special rate on Hotels.com so we decided to try it, and we love this place! Very modern, great location, and the one bedroom suite is much nicer than having to live with just two beds and no kitchen. No breakfast, but with the kitchen and endless restaurants it should be... Enjoyed staying at the Sundial; the location is fantastic, right in the center of the village and easy access to the lifts. We stayed in a 2bedroom suite with kitchen; the suite is well appointed and the beds are comfortable. The only negative I have is that our suite faced the plaza, directly across from the Longhorn bar and there... More
