Creekside is great but this location is very out of the way for those without a car. If you stay for a few days it isn't too difficult to find the route that lets you ski almost directly to the lodge from Whistler Mtn (out of bounds). The price is reasonable, especially for UBC students ($25-$40) and the facilities taken... More

At first it seems that UBC is basic in facilities but in the end that adds to its charm. The rooms are adequate which means that guests all hang out in the lounge and kitchen which makes it more sociable than other hostels where people can stay in their room with the wifi. The addition of a hot tub, spa... More

Overall nice place on budget, especially if you like mountains solitude! Not in village but bus 3 min walk and as much ride... Mostly clean, but showers felt bit unkept; dorm rooms-- very uncomfortable if you need to climb to the second level. OK kitchen-- would suggest to upgrade and stock it better. The system of total video surveillance all... More

I stayed here for a week while I tried to find some more permanent accommodation. Great facilities especially the hot tub. Really helpful staff. Met some great people here Only downside is its at the top of a big hill so you'll get fit travelling to the village Would defo stay again, better than other hostels in whis

This was a great place to stay. It was a short walk and a 5 minute bus ride to the village. There was free WiFi, good hot tub, good rooms with a personal locker (you need to bring a lock), friendly staff. The kitchen is very big. Really good price as well and its a better location then the Hi... More

Loved the whistler lodge, stayed there for close to a month. Very cheap, ski in ski out access, wifi is ten time better than the HI HOSTEL, very great place for a low budget

Good layout, friendly staff. Quiet accommodations and a good space to relax. Not for the all night partier. Great price.

This place is not a lodge or a hotel. It is a HOSTEL. We were in a bit of a shock when we first got there. The pictures on the website are very old and misleading! There are so many rules and cameras everywhere! On the plus side, it is clean and the current manager is a nice person. The... More

I visited the UBC Whistler Lodge numerous times during the '11 ski season for 1-2 nights per stay (Jan, Feb, Mar). Shannon, Steve and Rob, the UBC staff, were always welcoming and hospitable. They always worked to make my stay as a comfortable and pleasant as possible. It's extremely affordable, especially with a valid student ID and a great place... More

I recently stayed at the UBC Whistler Lodge with 2 friends. We really enjoyed our stay. Finding affordable accommodation options in Whistler can be tough, especially for 3 people. The lodge was cozy and comfortable and walking distance from the Creekside ski lift. Will definitely return. Loved the outdoor hot tub.
