Take it from a local Vancouverite, there are better selections for same price category. Location & cleanliness of rooms was just fine, however did not appreciate the hidden fess & lack of full disclosure. At checkout, we discovered there was a 6% booking fee charged by ResortQuest who manages the property. When I asked the front desk staff about this,... more

This lodge now has an unpublished policy of not accepting guests under 25 unless accompanied by someone who is 25 or over. Book online. Arrive and be told you're not welcome. How classy. more

Good value. Hotel is average, but so was the price on expedia. Everything is average, but met our requirements. Note that the hotel is slightly off the main walking path, but in Whistler "slightly off" means extra 1-2 min of walking :-) Will use it again! more

I booked a trip to Whistler for the Thanksgiving weekend and using the WhistlerBlackcomb web site to find a hotel. They have a great map of the different villages and a comprehensive list of hotels. I really enjoyed the accommodations at the Cascade Lodge. We had a one bedroom with full kitchen, living room and dining room. The kitchen is... more

We really Enjoyed the Cascade Lodge. It has a great location, and nice facility. Some of the rooms are upgraded (luckily ours was) recently. The staff of the hotel company RESORTQUEST were friendly and very accomodating for our children. We plan to come back in February. more

It was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Our family of four loved our stay there in the one bedroom suite. We didn't hear much noise or anything like that. The view (snowy trees) was magnificent, the beds comfortable and we all had fun days and slept like babies. I would return in a heartbeat. more

The Lodge itself is nice enough, but it is so close the highway the road noise woke us all several times a night. The lodge was pretty clean, the pool was alright, the location was okay and Whistler was great!!! There were also some large groups of young skiers who made their fair share of noise one night. Oh, there... more

We stayed at the Cascade Lodge the weekend of August 19-20. The weather in Whistler was great, so we were able to enjoy the great pool area and walk around the charming village. The Lodge itself is in a perfect location. It was a busy weekend, but the employees were efficient, friendly and helpful- as it was our first time... more

We own timeshare weeks at Cascade in July and at New Year's. We don't have much dependence on the hotel staff due to our timeshare status, but we enjoy the location and amenities. Bring earplugs for the highway noise if you leave the windows open. The views are great. Close to the Village. more

We got married in Whistler in Jan 2004 and stayed at the cascade. we were orginally going to stay at the fairmount but decided to down grade a little and save some money so we could have better hotels during the rest of our trip. (Hawaii and vegas). afterall when we ski we just need a base as the time... more
