They have two hot tubs but at any given time one of them was broken/closed. The outdoor pool is "heated"...warmer than the outside temp I guess but not warm enough to suffice for a closed hot tub that everyone is trying to cram into after a long day on the mountain. The other big disappointment - the fitness center DOESN'T... More

Our room (studio) was simply old, dust on the floor and had unclean dishes in the kitchenette. Thanks to poor window isolation there was quite some street noise. While central to the village walk to the distance ski lifts is not ideal. The staff did their job. They were just not friendly. So, I'm thinking the rating 2 is fair... More

Great location and easy walking to the village or the market square for groceries. Could walk to lifts from here, but the bus stop is right across the street and easier. Typical resort style furnishings. Clean but well used. Gets four stars due to convenience. Two outdoor spas not quite hot enough, and of course very crowded at end of... More

For the price point...excellent Location....perfect. Close to the village (two blocks away) and very convenient. We walked everywhere...including over to the Blackcomb base. If you are wearing ski boots and carrying ski gear, it does feel like a bit of a walk, especially at the end of the day. Great view of the mountains from the higher floors overlooking the... More

4 min walk to gondola is a real stretch. Rooms are level of holiday inn at best. No amenities, rooms are only serviced every 4 days. There aren't even any ice machines. Maintenance is very slow and many appliances are inoperable. Literally no storage for clothing.

Pros: Bang for the buck (nothing else comes close if you plan ahead); location if you don't have a lot of ski gear (across the street from the north end of the "village"). Cons: Location if you have lots of ski gear (rental place is farther than you think - then again, can't beat the price for this level of... More

We stayed in two bedroom suite with kitchenette, gas fireplace and the balcony. Great location because of a short walk to the lifts and the village and very easy access from the highway. A grocery store is near by and lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The place was quiet, and beds were comfortable. The hotel has a swimming pool... More

Spent a week and half here over Christmas in a studio room, room was dated but great outdoor heated pool and spas. Perfect location in the village but away from any noise. Easy walk to the lifts with boards.

There is nothing absolutely awesome about the Cascade Lodge but nothing bad to say either. We got a good online deal (30-40% lower than any other hotel in the same sector) for a small yet very well equipped studio. There is an Avis counter in the hotel and you can rent ski and snowboard gear on site as well (associated... More

We stayed in the hotel in October 2015 just a week before the snow arrived. The hotel is right in Whistler village but not on the Village Stroll path. Hotels right along the Village Stroll can be very noisy up until 3 a.m. when the drunk young folks are yelling at the top of their voice all night. Cascade Lodge... More
