The HI-Whistler hostel is very modern and it's a newer hostel. It is very clean and the staff is friendly. There is a big balcony, patio, they have a TV room, a pool table and many more things. Although it is a little bit far away (15-20min by bus) from Whistler I can really recommend it.

We expected a normal hostel but it's more like a hotel. We took a private room and everything looked very clean, they even have two towels, shampoo and a bar of soap per person! The cafe is reasonably priced and has a there's quite a lot of different choices. All in all we would come back here if we were... More

Our two day stay with 2 teenagers was a blast. Huge living area and nice kitchen with lots of fridge and storage space and modern appliances. Breakfast on the balcony, huge TV, laundry, iron. The place is full of very modern design everywhere: shelves, elevators, pictures on the wall, bunk beds, common rooms. Absolutely amazing friendly and helpful staff. Only... More

Great clean hostel. This is the first time I have seen a HI-hostel this great! The hostel was great, clean and new (build for the Olympics in 2010). Unfortunately the hostel is almost a 20 min bus ride from Whistler itself. Buses start early and end late so dont worry about being able to get back in time, you will... More

This is a fantastic place to stay. It's clean, modern and is like staying in a hotel! There are tons of facilities (including a large clean kitchen) and the staff are helpful too. Please bear in mind that it's not in the main Whistler resorts, so you will have a 5 minute drive to get to them, or alternatively there... More

Lovely, friendly hostel. So helpful and cheeky cafe is cute, affordable and tasty. Superb facilities. Like a hotel. They should note the distance from town to all prospective travellers and perhaps provide a refundable bus pass to assist in the 20 minute bus ride to Whistler village.

Love this place. I spent several weeks here last year and had an amazing time. One of the best hostels I've been to in Canada. Facilities are great, staff are cool and the whole place feels shiny and new. This is by far the best place if you're trying to do Whistler on a budget. The only downsides are the... More

The building is modern and the rooms are quite nice (4 bed dorm) the bathrooms clean and plentiful. The kitchen and common areas were pretty good. What really ruined our stay was the Frisbee Team. A bunch of drunken yobbos that took over the whole hostel - couldn't even have breakfast because the entire kitchen was "closed" for their personal... More

A great hostel located in the athletes village originally built for the winter olympics. Rooms can only hold four people max due to design but facilities are new and clean including a deck, large kitchen dining area and lounge. Counter staff were friendly and hostel had a great atmosphere! Only downside is the bus ride into whistler however the buses... More

We travelled from Vancouver to Whistler for 2 nights and booked into the Hostel. The building is very modern and has great facilities. We had an ensuite 4 bed room on the 4th floor with the kitchen and dining area located on the 2nd floor. There was a lack of basic cooking items often found in the other hostels like... More
