We booked the Edgewater Resort after reading good reports about it on TripAdvisor and it was certainly a good hotel, but I do feel that there is room for improvement, Firstly, the location is magnificent overlooking Green Lake and each of the rooms plus the restaurant has unobstructed views of the lake. The staff see very welcoming and friendly and... More

This hotel has an idyllic location on the shore of a lake with mountains providing a wonderful backdrop. We stayed for two nights in a Trumpeter Swan room which had a separate lounge area and a balcony overlooking the garden and the lake. The room was large, clean and comfortable but did show some signs of needing refurbishment - such... More

We had such a lovely few days at the Edgewater! Who wouldn't enjoy Some time on a lake while visiting Canada! Quiet and relaxing. Town is close, so walking around the village is a nice day thing if that's your desire. The room is modest but extremely adequate and clean and cozy. And I have to say we both thought... More

Stayed 15th May Stunning setting on the lake edge with views of the mountains from the picture window in our king studio suite. The reception/restaurant staff were excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant which is also a stunning area with the same outlook. It is fine dining quality and the food was excellent. A fantastic continental breakfast was also... More

We stayed at Edgewater for an on site family wedding. The scenery was gorgeous, the service was great and the food was to die for. The suite was a little cramped and lacked privacy, but we made the most of it and had a great time.

We decided to take a last-minute trip to Whistler with our 2-year old, and booked a room at the Edgewater Lodge just a few hours before we arrived. We looked at numerous options, but decided on the Edgewater based on their affordable rates, great reviews and the fact that they had one-bedroom suites (necessary when your toddler goes to bed... Edgewater went 110% of the way to make sure my wife and my wedding day was perfect. They were accommodating to every request. The rooms were clean and well kept. They worked really well for our wedding size and I didn't hear one complaint from any of our friends/family. The location is amazing and works perfect for weddings (spectacular was... More

4 of us went to the restaurant at 7pm so no sense in planning on a view in mid winter. There were only 3 tables of guests and the service was terrible considering they weren't busy. The food was only OK for the price. Glad we were paying in US dollars.

I've stayed at Edgewater twice now, and both times the staff have been exceptionally helpful and welcoming. All my requests were dealt with immediately. The buildings are clean, comfortable and simple. The view is stunning and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This was our second visit to the Edgewater Restaurant and it was just as we remembered. The evening view of the lake and surrounding area is stunning. The peacefulness of the area away from all the busyness of the village is amazing. Service and food were amazing as well. We will definitely be back
