We stayed for two nights during the July 4th weekend. The hotel staff was friendly and the location was good - in the village but tucked away from the crowdy areas/walkways/noise. The air conditioning was primitive, the thermostat didnt work properly, therefore, the temperature would swing to extreme hot to extreme cold through the night. Given the price you have... more

Stayed here for four days. My room was huge and faced the pool and putting green. Lovely view and large, well appointed room. Also very quiet. Had an enormous jacuzzi type tub in the bath room which was a treat. Dining room was good for breakfast and staff is attentive. However if you are not into extreme sports there is... more

We stayed at the Hilton Whistler Resort on New Year's Eve. It was a great experience. The hotel is beautiful. There were movie stars staying there with their families so it was a real treat for our teenage sons. Our room was huge and had a fireplace. The balcony had huge doors that opened up to a view of the... more

Stayed for one night on April 27. Whistler mountain had closed down the day before but we were just visiting to get a feel for Whistler prior to the 2010 Olympics. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The reception desk and main lobby are cold and sterile. We stayed in the South Tower and had no complaints about... more

Just returned from 7 nights at the Hilton Whistler. Our reception was first class, the rooms huge and with everything we needed. Brand new beds that were sooooooooooo comfortable! It's in a great position being very close to the main centre. Downsides - the restaurant really lacks atmosphere and breakfast was really nothing special. We choose to eat out every... more

Like I said , I would rate it much higher if it was a 3 star but it wasn't anything close to a 5 star hotel . we got a deal for $200 Canadian a night , had we paid any thing more than that it would have been a total rip- off. they advertise their location as Ski in-... more

This was my first time skiing in Whistler and we picked the Hilton for its proximity to the ski lift (both gondolas are about 30 seconds away from the hotel entrance) and also for a standard of quality you would expect from a 5* Hilton Hotel. Unfortunately the latter never transpired as the hotel was basic and had the feel... more

We stayed for 3 nights recently and had an amazing time skiing. Hilton is right in the village which makes it relatively easy for ski in-ski out. I am a Hilton Diamond VIP, and I certainly couldn't tell that I had any status while I stayed. The staff was unfriendly and the only time I saw one of them smile... more

Really enjoyed our stay here over the holiday period, for the following reasons. 1. Room size was quite good, and included a very useful kitchenette which allowed us to save a lot of money at an otherwise expensive resort area 2. Concierge was very helpful in identifying restaurants, and making reservations on short notice. Found us a great little pasta... more

We stayed at this hotel June 2008 during a west coast vacation. The hotel is situated right on the edge of town, within a few minutes walking distance to downtown Whistler which was great. The room was huge with a full kitchenette which was nice. The bathroom was a little small but very clean. Parking was underground and had easy... more
