This was my first trip to Whistler, BC and all I can say is WOW! I will be back. I had no idea how much there is to do in the summer. The place is breathtakingly beautiful with tons to do for active, outgoing families. The hotel was absolutely perfect in every way. We found all of the staff to... more

We stayed at Summit Lodge for a couple of nights as part of our Canada holiday, and found it a very pleasent experience. We seemed to have dropped-in between the peak Winter and Summer holiday times, but even so Whistler seemed fairly lively. Summit Lodge however is in a quieter area of the village, so we were not unduly disturbed.... more

It was our first time in Beautiful British Columbia and we are glad we decided to stay in Whistler (we had rental car for a week and took day trips to Vancouver). Hotel was very nice, very convenient location, walking distance to the village, shops and restaurants. Right across the street from the hotel there are the best crapes in... more

This hotel is very nice. The interior design has a very "ski lodge" feel, and is quite west coast. The staff was so great to our dog, and there is no extra charge for their stay, which made us feel quite welcome with him. The room was cozy and had a gas fireplace which warmed us up. A nice highlight:... more

I always get nervous when I book a hotel and then see bad reviews. Someone even said, "as much charm as a Best Western," so I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in the lobby and there was a great spa smell and a cozy fire going. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was an Executive Suite. It... more

I booked this place on hotels.ca website. After a couple of hours of doing so, I tried to cancel my booking after I learned that a member of the family passed. After trying to call hotels.ca, I was put on hold for about 45 mins and got disconnected for no reason. Tried again and the agent told me to call... more

Overall this is a decent place to stay in Whistler. The location is pretty central and there is a shuttle service that drops right near the lifts so for skiing it is very convenient. The shuttle service was really well run too, with a very courteous and friendly driver. We never had to wait more than a few minutes and... more

I should have known that something was up when it took me 4 separate tries to get through to the hotel... The first time, I tried to book on the website, didn't work. The second time, I called, I was told to "call back when someone would be available to make reservations" (I called at 6pm in the evening). The... more

Worst hotel we ever stayed at at Whistler. Room with two queen beds and kitchenette very cramped. Stove didn't work and maint staff rude and did not seem to know anything about maintaining a hotel. Room reminded us of an motel eight on the I-5 in the states except for the view. We have stayed at five different hotels right... more

My wife and 2 kids stayed here for 2 nights - 24th and 25th August 2008. We arrived having taken in the beautiful drive from Vancouver at 11am - far too early to check in but the lady on the desk offered the underground parking immediately prior to us formally checking in. At $19 per night plus tax, it's reasonably... more
